@@carstenfischer545 Nein, leider war es nicht möglich. Mein neuer Job konnte nicht so lange warten. Vielleicht eines Tages wieder, wenn ich nochmal in die USA ziehe.
binge watched all 5 episodes in 2 days... great stuff. I'm in Finland and already looking for a velomobile, maybe the Quatrevelo... these are the commuting future for short journeys and why not an adventure. Already thinking of Kotka to lapland gih up in the Arctic Circle.... some 1000km, now that would be something.
Thank you, fellow velonaut, for sharing such wonderful video clips documentaries and quite savvy at capturing the moment at hand as seeing from our Quest Velomobile. I have a 2010 Quest Velomobile QB 027 and still rides as reliable as a Toyota SUV he he.
Glad you enjoyed it! I only have 16,000 kms on it after 3 years of ownership. It should be much more!! In what part of the world are you riding your Quest??
You and me both! Although I wonder how much of the "bike path" will be truly separated from traffic. I fear much of the "coast-to-coast" bike path will be built by sticking bike path signs into the ground along a busy road. I hope I am wrong though!
Hi there. I work on AB GK at the moment and heard some years ago about an orange velomobile on base. I was surprised to find your video. What an AWESOME trip you made. Really nice to see that Alleweder in New York and wow, after all those km's, your bike is still in one piece. Your video makes me want to hit the road too. Fun fact: your former landlord John is one of my colleagues.
Hi there! I only worried about theft in Brooklyn!! The entire trip, I left the bike next to my tent at night and never had anybody try to mess with it.
I went over to Holland 8 years ago to collect her and had to put new shocks wheels and brakes on it to get it on the road i had it for about a year or so and unfortunately had to sell her. Where she when to a guy in London who then sold it to another guy in London then it was sold to Jason
Thanks for sharing your journey. I plan to start touring when I retire in a couple of years. I love watching videos like yours for inspiration.
That was epic trip! 💪 I really enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing it 👍
Thanks Saukki! Enjoy the new QV!
@@quest818velomobile6 You know you've made it when Saukki comments on your velomobile videos! LOL
Thoroughly enjoyed your videos. What a fabulous trip. I think you're a natural at presenting, so informative, easy going and empathetic. Many thanks

Many thanks!
That was an epic ride, congratulations on this feat. I have an M9 and loving the rides!
Thanks! M9 is an awesome machine! I'm about to upgrade to a SnoekL, so the globe-trotting Quest will be for sale next year :)
Thx for sharing your videos! Safe trips and best wishes from Germany
Danke dir! Ich lebe auch jetzt wieder hier in Deutschland ;)

Finland looks to be a great place for cycling...at least from Saukki's videos! Good luck with your travel plan!

Hi Marcel! Thanks for the good words! Another fun fact...since last year the velomobile is back on base here at GK! Maybe we can meet up sometime. 👍

Glad you enjoyed it! I hope it inspires others to take on similar trips.
Very nice.
Thank you!
The Alleweader was mine by the way
Awesome. I'm glad you found my channel and got to see your old bike. That's pretty awesome!
I would like to talk about your trip in one of the next videos on my youtube channel, would be a problem for you?

The Alleweder looked good when I saw it. It seems to fare quite a bit better with the NYC streets than his Mango does.
Your European trip was great to watch a great achievement!
I bought another Alleweader just recently the bigger A4
nice
Welcome home! I really enjoyed your journey from Germany (my homeland) to the U.S.! :)
