I have really enjoyed watching your progression (have to admit, just discovered you yesterday and binge - watched your whole blog last night). You've inspired me to start my own video journal. I was just approved for my own DS and I hope to do as well as you! Thanks for sharing your story and helping the rest of us along!
+Melanie Lively Hi Melanie! I am so glad you found some worthwhile things in my videos, and am really happy for your upcoming DS. I am a big fan of my surgery and surgeon, and hope you have a great experience as well. Please feel free to ask any questions if I can be of any help with the DS experience. Another great resource is bariatricfacts.org. They are pretty DS focused, and there are a BUNCH of DS veterans on there, many are 5, 10 or even more years out, so they know a great deal about vitamins, etc. Good luck with everything - I am here for ya!
I used to love yoga. Definitely need to get back into it. I've been in denial about thinking weight loss has changed me. I kept saying I'm not changed, I'm just the old me, but I'm not the old me because that is referring to me as a twenty year old. I am a combination of that person and a person who has experienced many years of morbid obesity, among many other things. With my friends nothing has changed but I wonder who I am now in relation to the rest of the world. If I don't almost die this week like last week this will be my video topic on Monday!
95 pounds! You'll be hitting the 100 lb mark soon! I'll have to go watch Clusie's video. I'm behind as usual. I wanted to reach through the screen and pet Toby. :)
+Killing Fat Aimee with VSG When I hit 100 lbs, I am getting myself a prize - so far I think it is going to be a Fitbit Blaze, but haven't decided for sure. Have you awarded yourself prizes for goals? I haven't done much of that besides clothing.
Yep, I'm rewarding myself with every 25 pounds lost. My 75 pounds lost reward is a GoPro. I'm only 5 pounds away, so I went ahead and ordered it. LOL! My 100 pound reward is a new bigger and better Trikke. I haven't decided what I want when I hit 125 pounds yet, but my 150 pound reward is a trip to universal studios to see the Harry Potter stuff. :)
I feel the same way about my surgeons goal for me, I want to get there and see how I feel. I can't wait for the recipes and I love clussie videos. Toby is beautiful....
+Tranquility road Yoga is fun - particularly the relaxing stretch-focused yoga class I chose. Thanks for the comment on Toby - he LOVES running with me. :)

Great job Amy! You're kickin butt and taking names every week. And I love the Toby cameo. 😂
+VSGinny Thanks Ginny! Love watching your workout progress on FB. Keep rockin it, girl!
Hey Amy!! Another great loss!! Good for you!! Glad that you discovered your personalities you didn't have. You look great!! Keep it up!!
+Skotti RNY Thanks Skotti - you know I've got personality to spare. :P
