Just BEAUTIFUL!
It seems Maynard is having fun again. Havent seen him this 'busy' during a show. Good to see...
J Gregory Kline I agree 100 percent with you.
Yup. I remember how dark he would seem back in the 90's onstage...his energy, I mean, not just the lack of lighting or stage blocking. Honestly, I think he was the first singer I'd ever seen perform who almost seemed to be hiding at the rear. It was odd yet fitting at the time (Undertow, Ænima). But he was very vocal, very animated at the Fresno gig, even cracking jokes. And his energy was amazing. Seen them every tour, and this was by far my favorite. Swamp Song, The Patient...Pneuma was mind-blowing. I purposefully avoided listening to the new material, waited months to get to hear it live first. Holy shirt, it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen.
@fixthefernback7076 lucky lucky man 💪

Great set, but man....no Lateralus? Crowd missed a great live song.

Pneuma sounds absolutely amazing live.

I absolutely love the new album. It's so amazing to hear these new songs performed live for the first time. How lucky we are to be alive now to witness this moment in music history ... Thank you TOOL!
It's their worst album.
As much as it pains me to say it, their masterful, more-perfect-than-perfect songwriting days are over. Thing that passes me off the most ? My brain was expecting Lateralus caliber material but got something sub par. Beyond sub par. It's like they just cranked it out on an assembly line...
@@richardrardin9156 I agree with you in this regard - nothing they did after Lateralus was anywhere near as amazing as their first three albums. I still appreciate the new one for what it is, though.
@@carlkellner1310 I think 10,000 days was their best work, although Lateralus is still their most unique idea
@@Кто-то-р1ж4у I like them all, but I LOVE Lateralus. It’s right next to Dark Side in my mind.
Tool, the symbiotic moment of rush meet's floyd, meets zeppelin and the cure, and you realize you have met the future and nothing will ever be the same . And you love it.
ray rines except these guys are still raising the bar but of course they didn’t have near the shit they have now I seen Bon Scott back in the days Randy Roads pease my fellow rocker
@TET - COM hahahahaha you can't be serious
These visuals were better than the ones in the 2024 tour, IMO. Less fancy lights but much cooler animations.
One band to rule them all.
I concur
Been playing the same song since the 90's. Just put different album art on it.
@@manfredadams3252 LOL. try harder, buddy.

@@turdferguson7112 That actually might be more entertaining than tool.
Wow! Hats off to the videographer for great concert footage.
11 minutes into Tool's performance and I'm breathless with goosebumps. The music and animation are absolutely incredible.
Hearing the new album in the context of the rest of the albums is eye opening. It seems like Tool made this album for themselves, honestly. It's like they said, "These are the kind of songs we need for perfect pacing at our performances."
This was my second ever concert. Got to see them with my mom!!! I was bummed my dad couldn’t go. I remember always hearing Ænima in the car as a kid. He does get to go to the Vegas show in January so the whole family will get to experience their awesomeness.
Fear Inocolum sounds amazing. Music beyond words.
Saw them for the 10th time last night in Milwaukee. Phenomenal
I'll be seeing them for my 10th time this Sunday and cant fucking wait!!
I was here! Both nights!! So freaking good, I'll never forget hearing/seeing/experiencing/becoming Pneuma!!!!!!!
HoLy JAMBI still chokes me up everytime. Life changing song for me, forever my all time fav❤words can not describe the feeling!
For it's Parabol/Parabola. The lyrics make me tear up every time and help me remind myself that I'm lucky to be alive and need to cherish this life I have.
Was there that night. I know tool. Took me 10 whole seconds to realize. Omg that's jambi. It was so heavy

@@joshuafoster6239 was there too in 2019 too. just went to Columbus Ohio show on sunday. Was amazing.. and went to Chicago show a couple days ago.. better show than 2019 show I think.. so glad to get to see them
I love that they use microscopic images of lung alveoli at the beginning of Pneuma. Even the smallest details have a meaning.
The visual aspect of the show was astonishingly beautiful. I was in awe the whole time when I saw them a few months ago.
I watch this with either acid or shrooms religiously, at least once per month. Usually the lyrics or a certain pattern in the backdrop induces an introspective little trip and I always wake up the next morning ready to tackle any problem, third eye thrust wide open. Super props for getting this high quality concert as well the camera work

The BEST TOOL CONCERT VIDEO & SOUND..IN MY OPINION.
New York 2002. That was the best TOOL concert ever.

Ironic that in all that fear, we were "inoculated" against it. I won't be told to quarantine ever again.
What a powerful show! I hope I can see them live one day.
Saw this same show in San Antonio. Definitely a experience of a lifetime.

just saw them in Raleigh NC this past weekend and it was amazing!
JB 360 we did too. We were completely blown away.
Awesome! Can't believe these guys are still pulling this off (Danny especially). You try waving your arms around and stomping your feet for 2 hours straight and see how it feels... And he does it (usually) in the right timing with signatures that sound and basically are out of this world. Not to mention the other three doing a great job keeping up and pulling all that craziness into masterpieces before our eyes. Tool's arrangements are quite the spectacle aren't they?!
Quite! They are masters of timing, tempo and visual, combined with, sonic ecstasy.
I just saw them here in San Antonio, TX on the 25th. My mind is still blown with the sheer brilliance that is TOOL. Great concert!
Same here!
Haven’t seen these guys live since ‘06. We’re going to the Indianapolis show tomorrow evening and I can’t wait!! First time for my sweetheart too! 😁🤘🤘🤘
Daniel Wade Post the video please!
So how was it?
I’ll answer, it was incredible. Descending was played, enough said. Plus the best show poster to date.
Rogelio Martínez - We were only allowed to record Stinkfist at the end. There are tons of videos of Stinkfist from the current tour. Thank you for asking! Plus, I turn at the end of it and get my sweetheart with a huge smile on her face. I wanna keep that video sacred. Thanks again!
The Unwanted Scrub - I absolutely LOVED it. There’s nothing like seeing Tool on the tour immediately following a new album. You get the full on experience of what these gentlemen, and modern technology (lights, lasers, videos) can produce live! I wish they would’ve played The Pot but there are several songs that they are interchanging on the current tour from one night to the next. Picked up an awesome hoody though! 🤗
I was at the 2nd show here in Denver. Incredible performance by the best ever (IMHO).
Was there..first tool show. Flew from Indiana. Colorado was awesome and the show was great. Impressed at how he sounded in that altitude. The mountains had my head and sinuses fucked up

Tears of joy were shed when I saw them too. This tour was something special. I'm heartbroken they couldn't continue.
This was my first Tool show. After years of wanting to see them live I was finally able to go. Was so exciting the whole night was just a blur so this is awesome to see.
I had a flashback at my first TOOL show. haha..
Haven't seen them yet, wanted to go but the tickets went too fast and resale tickets are too expensive, maybe next time for me
@@RaptorAmbush Has your date already passed?? I've been told to keep checking no matter what. The scalpers will get more desperate the closer to the show date and prices will come down.
@@RaptorAmbush Yeah this was my issue. Chicago and IN, both shows sold out in minutes through ticketmaster. However Ticketmaster's bot pages had resell tickets up, for double the price. Add in the new facial recognition tech being used at big venues, and unfortunately I'm watching bootlegs on YT here. It's really a shame.
I saw them for my first time back in Sacramento CA @ aftershock. Been a fan since 09. Same boat, always wanted to go but never go the chance. They were probably the best performance of that whole weekend.
Thanks for the upload! Just saw them in Tulsa. In the Top 3 best shows I've ever seen (out of 100+). If you're a Tool fan, seeing them live will turn you into a Tool freak! Amazing! I missed half the visuals because I couldn't take my eyes off Danny Carey's hands.

Whether it's a coincidence or a relationship based on an unknown mysterious algorithm, I opened my TH-cam window, and your thumbnail caught my eye, so I unexpectedly saw your video. You have the ability to let go. Even if it's just a passing relationship I've never seen offline and don't know your name, I'm so happy to meet you in the TH-cam world like this. Watching your videos makes me happy and happy even when I'm quietly alone. Thank you because I think I finally found what I've been looking for .When I watch your video, it feels like an ecstatic and pleasant wind brushes my cheeks as the sun goes down in the field and evening. Even if the TH-cam road is rough and windswept, and everything in this world moves away from me, I will always keep your video in my memory. Thank you for giving me a positive feeling of happiness through your video. I think the video of you that I met by chance is shaking and resonating with joy because I love the scent of autumn, even the gentle breeze of summer. Your video shines the most on my TH-cam window right now. Your video is the best video. Please upload your wonderful videos often in the future. Before I opened the TH-cam channel, I had a good feeling of excitement in front of the door. How did you have such a wonderful talent that is full of the mysterious charm of your video? After watching your video, I start the day with my positive emotions. Your video I am currently watching is the most wonderful and wonderful. I feel really happy because your video, which I feel was made with unsparing sincerity, has a feeling that positive energy will come to you and receive a lot of love soon. I don't think it will change and it will last forever. I'm sitting by the window, reminiscing about the memories I've never been to, and watching your videos. I'm also lucky to have an algorithm like this in space.

Got lucky with this video. They were cracking down big time! 2 people with in front of me got kicked for using their phones b4 Tool even came out. Saw them a few days later in Phoenix. Same exact show minus Danny's "stoner moment" in Pneuma. 😂 Idk if sound quality was sacrificed on this video bc in sounded way better in Phx. Even the vocals too. I was on the floor by the booth. Maybe that's why. Still sounds amazing though
it's amazing how perfect and neat they play. so professional.
I've seen a lot of Toolshows. This setlist is by far the best I've ever seen. They never play this many "hits." I never danced so much at a show ever. You usually aren't "dancing" too much at Tool. It's more absorption. 😁🤘 So. Damn. Good.

very brave of you to film this show & risk getting kicked out!!
watched several people get kicked out in Los Angeles show. They were no t playing around. You WILL get booted. One lady didn't make it thru first song!
I went to the Raleigh show with my wife and her girlfriend. They were serious about not capturing video. My wife's GF is almost 50, but acts like a 12 year old about social media and recording shows. I told her they would take her phone and throw her out and that there was no way in hell that I would leave the show one minute early. I cannot believe that she didn't record until Maynard said he was okay with it for the last song. The show was MUCH better without a sea of f'tards waving their phones in the air. Personally my favourite track is intollerence. But these guys have overwhelming support from there fans. Is it not just enough that they are absolutely fantastic? In order for you to hear them live these days is because they had to release and play new material. Not to mention maynard got corona virus and it damaged his vocal chords and the fact that he is getting older and can't hit the same notes that he used to be able to. I think the fact that they don't tire certain songs out is a sure fire sign that they are a brilliant band. PUSHIT and it will fail.
