    With the rooms being able to clamp together, not only is it convenient for the DM to prebuild the rooms to plop and go, but it also gives you the fog of war aspect.

    • @thegamersroom7693
      @thegamersroom7693  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yea and if you can guess or control the path the players will take you can move walls to corridor so that there are no missing doors/walls if you want to do fog of war. The way I set this one up did not do a great job of it as the room and corridors share a lot of wall.

  • @meatKog
    @meatKog 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I agree with your design with these tiles, building section by section and connecting by what you need (like halls or other smaller rooms). I do this in game, placing room by room when the players encounter them and removing them wen the players leave.

    • @thegamersroom7693
      @thegamersroom7693  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is pretty neat. About how many sets did you need to build this?

  • @DAMitAlI
    @DAMitAlI 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I didn’t think of just making rooms and then filling in. The drop in when players enter the room is great. I’ve had so many concerns having a chunk of my dungeon on the table before the game starts.
    Questions.How do you store the pieces? Individual pieces in labeled boxes in a tote box? What about built rooms? Shelves?
    What about magnates on the edge on rooms so they snap together and the clips to the rooms stay whole?
    For terrain (bookshelves, pillars, beds, crates) do you store them in what is need for each room?

    • @thegamersroom7693
      @thegamersroom7693  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just store the sets in the boxes they cam in on my game selves. However I am planning to consolidate them down as this is not the most efficient way.
      As for built rooms, I am lucky enough to have a dedicated game room. I can just leave them on the table or if I want them out of sight I can put them in my elfa drawers. www.containerstore.com/s/elfa/best-selling-solutions/drawer-units/123
      I do not want to modify them by adding magnates. I don't see how you could do it Wight out messing up the clips. However if you could come up with a way to modify the clips so could clip in a mag. that would be awesome. but relay the EZ clips go in very easily that you could add them on the fly without to much issues.
      I just put them in the room. they get nocked over when bringing the room into play but don't take long to set back up. NO different then bring in a paper map and setting them up.

    I enjoyed the tips and build. How do you store your tiles?

    • @thegamersroom7693
      @thegamersroom7693  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Right now I just put them back in the box they came in. The stair and expansion pack go back in there boxes too, but all the other assessors; doors, dressing, rune tile are just sitting on a shelf in my miniature cabinets. I have plains to consolidate the tiles by building custom inserts for the boxes. There is a lot of wasted space can easily fit two sets in one box. Have not figured out how I am gong to do it yet. I was thinking on box for all the floor tiles, then wall for all the stone walls and one for all the town walls. Was waiting for more sets to come out before I did the. I am open to suggestions.

    Which minis are those black and red assassins and cultists? I've been looking for some good ones.

    • @thegamersroom7693

      They are all from Wizkids Pathfinder Battles "The Lost Cast"
      8 Lamashtu Thug 1 common (guy with cross bow)
      11 Lamashtu Cultist common (guy with bow of purple smoke)
      13 Lamashtu Thug 2 common (guy with two daggers)
      39 Thelsikar rare (guy with dagger and potion, leader)
      Yea they are great to have be because they are common so you can have a lot of them and are clearly a group with 3 poses plus the rare leader. This makes them my go to band of human cultist.

    • @thegamersroom7693
      @thegamersroom7693  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This use 2 set of the base dungeon tiles and all the corner post from expansion box one. The short wall set comes with 18 ext walls and 26 4X4 Tiles, the tall wall set come with 10 ext walls and 20 4X4 tiles. It would take about 4 sets of the tall walls to do this layout. Or many 3 sets and 1 set of the tall wall expansion so you don't end up with two many floor tiles.
