Rockstar is telling me if I die one time I restart the whole entire thing. Mission really needs checkpoints
this was the hardest level i played when i was a kid
+Icey WHEELS I didnt understand english when I played this as a kid, so I didnt know what the fuck to do, always failed and I didnt know why and I got so pissed of lmao!

"Ok so for this level we wanted the player to blow some stuff up so he had them shoot flares at these cannons. So we felt that was a little too boring so then we made it so enemies will just start endlessly flooding in and we felt that was still kinda easy so then instead of just beating the level now the player has to do a mini escourt mission while taking out the cannons so he can deal with the endless flood. Also theres only 1 place where health spawns" *-Actual qoute from Rockstar developers*
They had a great idea I'll admit I didn't got bored as If I was playing Annie Stoakes chapter

Rockstar made this chapter so hard especially since it has no checkpoints.

I was having massive trouble with this level, until I got my technique down. Stay close to the two jag-offs that you have to protect, and use the bayonet as much as you can! It kills an enemy in one or two stabs.
So shoot them, then stab em.
Once you get to the sequence where charges are being set, don’t even worry about the cannons anymore. You don’t have to take out the rest then.

I played forever trying to beat this part, I hate it how you only have 2 people on your team

Fuck this level. They way over did it with cannons. And trying to keep those two idiots alive while they plant charges is a freaking task and a half.
Just finished red dead revolver on normal difficulty after 3 days and chapter 13 is by far the hardest in the game.

Gameape - You unlock harder difficulties after you beat the game for the first time and have to select it as you begin a new game although you keep the items you purchased in previous playthroughs.

Red Dead Redemption is one of my favourite games so I really want to play Red Dead Revolver
this mission made me uninstall it
BMT115 there was no installing or uninstalling games back then lol. All you could do was take out the disc

Literally just passed this now , man having so much go on at once then having to protect the guys when they plant the charges. Never again
grrr! everytime I get to the end of the level my guy and the soulders just like stop fighting and stand there! Its like WTF! get ure ass moveing!!!
That part reminds me of The Good, The Bad And The Ugly with the bridge in the middle and all the cannons.

This was the hardest level it took me several tries to get past it, and I did it on easy mode! Respect to anyone that did this on normal and up
Diego: "Let's blow the bridge by moving across the shallow river with a weak current that anyone could cross. Gotta put that dynamite to use somehow."
the part where you got blown up on the bridge and fell into the water below was awesome

The mission reminds me of the Mexican-American War. However, the mission takes place in the 1870s, and the Mexican-American War took place from 1846 to 1848.
i think diego is the best character to unlock for use in multiplayer because of his flares to command the cannons where to shoot

Just left the game aside playing this mission. Had to take a break as the rage was getting too intense....... Only tomorrow I MIGHT be willing to try again. The game super fun, but these parts................

this is probably one of the worst missions i have ever played in any game! they could've made at least a fucking checkpoint or 2 to put in!
My favorite character and level when I was a kid no lie I replayed tf out of this level I also really liked the cannon arm guy the buffalo soldier and the Indian guy I really hope rockstar makes some characters like those again but arther morgen is still the king of cowboys tho

The Traitor is such a pain in the ass and the cannons. Don't even get me started on the cannons.
Funny, you could take out Diego and put Joseph Stalin from Red Alert in his place, and his dialogue will still make perfect sense, the accent would fit him too like it did Diego XD

Joseph Stalin in 1995 "Red Alert" game behaves similarly to General Diego here in many ways. Diego even sounds like an angry Russian :P
i passed this level in 2 weeks when i was a kid and passed the whole game
I remember beating this at like 8-9 years old. And rewatching it is crazy that an 8-9 year old could do it cause idk if i could now lol i replayed this game so many times. Wish theyd take rdr3 back to a remake of this story in depth.

This mission actually never gave me trouble, the mission with the guy with the gatling gun in the coffin and the mine mission and the last mission are the train mission are the ones that gave me trouble

i remember watching my cuzin play this mission when i was like 6 haha

I hated this level so much
I remember playing this level on ps2 and couldn't beat it. Those cannons are fucking annoying to avoid and NO fucking checkpoints which is worse.

Because of this stupid mission and since there is no checkpoints I broke a controller and btw as a little reminder I was a child then and to this day I still have the controller😂😂

I believe this scene was inspired by the scene in the good bad and ugly where they blow up the bridge. Rockstar is well known for basing levels off movies.

Wait, i don't get it? Wasn't Colonel Daren part of the US Army? Why was he with General Diego at the time? Diego was the leader of the Mexican Army, and in this sequence the Mexican Army were at war with the US military!

i used to keep down the street, my english is bad but you know the down part of the bridge? and when i Killed all soldiers, i aim to the canoon and shoot him, and i dont't just shoot, press the O button to punch the enemy also
God bless PCSX2 save states. So far RDR ain't as much fun as Redemption series, but atlas it's like a grandpa to it
How do you bayonet charge??
You have to first and then you press the melee button to use the bayonet.
This is where I stopped playing... Fucking hard.
1. Endless Soldiers, 2. Infinite cannonballs hitting you out of no where, 3. NO FUCKING CHECKPOINTS, 4. Only ONE SOLDIER that gives you health potion, 5. YOU HAVE TO SHOOT ONE SOLDIER SIX TIMES TO KILL WITH YOUR SHITTY GUN + NO AIM ASSIST, 6. TERRIBLE ASSISTANCE AND MAKE YOU DIE INSTANTLY.
I bought the game before going into RDR2, but man this mission is just impossible! I died at least 20 times by now, deleted the game twice already in rage! How could they make this level so hard, and why? This is like an ultra hard mode, not the basic normal... Sad that I have to stop playing the game, because it's fun, but after dieing a couple dozen times, I feel like throwing the controller at the screen in rage!
