I imagine the concept behind that is that you're firstly not supposed to start objectives only to totally abandon them. Like, for example, if you don't start the flower gathering objective, for all you know that guy has just been living his life until Jack finally runs into him instead of his father. I don't see what's weird or hard to believe about that. I'm sure the devs just didn't take the time to really think about that or test it like the players either.

Just started playing Red Dead: The original, and I must say that it is a very fun and immersive game with tons of content to keep just about anyone busy. Then there is the open world with tons of places to go, people to see, things to kill, and of course fun to be had. There needs to be more videos like this one on here showing all the hidden goodies, additional Easter eggs, hidden items and extra things that can be done in game. Kudos.

They could have hired a new voice actor. Any subtle difference in the sound of the voice could easily be explained by the character being 10 years younger. Also, he could appear without a speaking role.
