- Since we finally have a 2022 BMW iX to discover with the all new BMW iDrive 8, I wanted to make a video for our customers and all of you out there on TH-cam showing how to use Automatic Parking! Its really cool with the AR displays and the new capabilities of this feature with iDrive 8! Let me know what you think!

Thanks, Allen. Cool! Can you tell us whether your iX is equipped with Parking Assistant PLUS or Parking Assistant PROFESSIONAL? I'm curious if Canada and U.S. have different specs.

@@AllenBMWDurham Parking Manœuvre Assistant - part of the Parking Professional system. You can record multiple automatic parking routes (complex ones) and the car will do it by itself when it is in the start zone.
@@nitramluap interesting didnt even hear about this, let me see if this is something in our market and if we ever get another iX in with this option ill try it out.

While in “Leaving Parking Space”, if there is an oncoming car will it auto brake?. I’m considering the M340i.
Depends how slowly the oncoming car is coming, however it should still be up to you to react if the variables around the car are changing while the parking maneuver is engaged.
Why choose a non parking space to demo this!?
to demonstrate how the AR parking works by placing a box in the camera to show where you will park and that it works based on proximity to other cars even without visible parking lines
On over a $75,000 value car, and a $1 Shop kind of review!! Please just don't get over excited if you get to know an exciting feature from BMW and think that you can show it to the world, first!! PLAN it right first! then do a Professional review. Don't forget that they (BMW) made that feature after a day and night struggle and hard work.
AND for god sake, it's not HEADS up display, it's HEAD UP Display. You (the show room guys) learn one that feature after ohh IC and then think that you are Pro!? Practice more, PLEASE. Honestly, the customers actually know more than what you are trying to do a demo of. Finally, No Offense! It was just a Unbiased comment. Take it easy fellas. Thanks.
