    What's your favorite function in the new BMW iX?

    • @Skynet_01

      The Gesture control...... wish there were more presets.

    • @TsavoLion88

      The AI and gesture. I think the sun roof is dope but would rather it open. Don’t see much difference between opaque and clear to be honest.

    This was pure genius. I just bought an ix and even tho the guys at the dealership did a complete walkthrough, this was at another level so thanks for that!
    One side bar: my ix came in titanium bronze trim which includes trim on the seat adjustments buttons (over the crystal). However, unlike this car On my car there are no preset buttons. Just guessing I can use the screen to late drivers setting for seats but haven’t found that quite yet.

    • @aigomorla
      @aigomorla ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the crystal is an option. I have a Medium trim level, however my buttons are not crystal.
      Looking at the one showed which also has the Bower & Wilkens option, i think that is probably the top trim level, with the rising and lower suspension, and the turning rear wheels even.

    A lot of those features have been with BMWs for over 20 to 30 years. I love the idea of being able to control the windows from a distance. A good way to let the heat out before entering.

    • @aigomorla
      @aigomorla ปีที่แล้ว

      Its sort of pointless because its an electric car, so the car does not need to be running for the AC compressor to work.
      And with MyBMW app, you can turn on the AC before you even get to the car, entering a nice and cool car on a hot day.

    • @klashokkumar

      Yes, I have felt it often. It shows up on the display just above the seat heater button. The heat is more measured and subtler than in BMW ICE cars but does the job very well

    I had an incident in Hermosillo, Sonora, with my BMW iX xDrive50, which unexpectedly accelerated while turning at low speed, something that has been documented as an issue by the NHTSA in the United States, though there is no regulatory body to investigate it in Mexico. I’m concerned about the safety of this technology, as there have been other serious cases reported. However, BMW Mexico does not recognize this as a technical fault and claims it was human error, despite my request to exchange the vehicle to ensure my safety. The company will review my request with the distributor but requires payment of the deductible, leaving my concern about a potential defect in the vehicle unresolved.

    I’ve had mine since May. I don’t think it remote starts so that’s not accurate.

    • @bmwblog
      @bmwblog  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on the country. Not everyone has that feature, due to regulations

    • @andreh.dupuis8475
      @andreh.dupuis8475 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it may be called remote start because the app is made for both ICE and BEV, but in the iX it only preconditions the ventilation/climate system 😀

      True, for iX you can pre condition the cabin temperature through the BMW app, you can program the date and hour of your next departure and the ventilation system will preheat or precool the cabin 😊
