Awesome video. I greatly appreciate the detail and specifics. Everyone planning on obtaining temporary residency needs to watch your video. You provided invaluable insight that will give many people confidence to proceed. Thank you so much!
WoW wow I It s fantastic. You are great at explaining in a very detailed. Clear and precise way. You are the first. Congratulations I followed you from start to finish. well done thank you
Si, you are the only one who explained everything! No need to hire a lawyer or facilitator because of you! I will buy you a tequila when I see you down there, amigo!
Hey did you have to present all those documents again like you did at the consulate? We just got the Mexican Visa but just wondering if we have to present all the documents again in order to get the ID card?
Thank you so much for this, this is great information! What you didn't tell us in this video is, what is the appointment day like? I have the temporary resident visa already, I think I can get all the forms filled out correctly, owe it to your video. Say I make the appointment, I have everything ready, I go to the appointment, what do they do during the appointment? About how long does it take? I don't speak any Spanish, Should I take an interpreter with me, or a google translator is enough, or I don't need anything? Thank you much!
You're welcome. You sign the tramite, and the formato basico during the appointment at the immigration office, whatever forms are not signed they will remind you before turning them in.
How do I make an INM appointment online for a family for temporary resident card in Mexico? How long did it take you the process, 1 day or 2 ? Thank you!
I can only speak for the INM in Guadalajara but you have to go in person to make an appointment, they will write your name down on a ledger and tell you when your appointment date is. I showed up to my appointment and got the card within an hour. I am not sure if the appt process is the same for families. You're welcome good luck!
I am from a third world country, from the state of Sudan. I work as a freelancer on the Internet. My income exceeds 1,800. Is there a chance to obtain residency in Mexico?
I have arrived Friday. The immigration officer asked me why I am here. I told him I am in Mexico to get my temporary residency card. He saw the visas and put 30 days. I don't rember I filled this form you are talking about. I did fill a form like everyone else before. They gave it to us in the plane. That's about that.. The immigration officer told me to go the immigration on Monday to apply for the Residency Card. So, this first form, along with the other ones, I cannot find them at the immigration office where they asked me to go?.
Thanks for this, unfortunately, there have been a lot of changes since your experience. it appears as though a copy of your stamped passport is now required in order for attorney's and facilitators to book appointments for clients now. I was told that they are no longer allowed to book appointments in Guadalajara without the sending a confirmation that you are actually in the country. The FMM card is no longer provided by airlines.
I picture of my passport was good enough to book my appointment early last year. I'm personally not sure if the booking process has changed but I would talk to multiple attorneys to validate if anything has changed officially. Seems odd they need confirmation you are in the country just to write you name in an appt book lol
How many days do you have to plan to stay in Mexico in order to complete the temporary residency card process after entering Mexico on the temporary residency visa
Hi! Been watching your channel good stuff! I literally got my Visa at the Mexican consul yesterday. Now I have to go and do the Canje process. Your video was helpful when you mentioned just get a abogado to set up the appointment for you. I actually contacted an abogado today and they are quoting me 10,000 pesos to do the process. You mentioned they only charged you 400 pesos.... This particular abogado is telling me that you need a residential address and they will provide one for me and that's included in the 10,000 (also included is the visa fee). According to what you said you used the hotel address and it was all good for 400 pesos. Would you mind sharing with me the attorney that you used and their contact information? I am open to going to Guadalajara or any other city to get this done, because I need to get it done within 1 to 2 days. You didn't mention how long it took to get your card from the day you went to your appointment, but I'm assuming it was same day am I correct? Would you hit me up with that lawyer information that would be awesome on your part!!
Hey thank you! 10,000 is definitely too much imo even if they are facilitating the entire process for you. Yes I used a hotel address and paid a lawyer 400 pesos only to go in and book the appt for me, with no issues at all about the address from the immigration office. My previous attorney changed his number and I have not been able to reach him but I recommend searching lawyers on google or on Facebook groups in Guadalajara or other cities and cold calling them, I would think they would charge a similar appt booking fee as my old one in Guadalajara, I hope this helps.
Hi, did you ever find a good attorney? I just looked in the comments and see you have the same issue I have. Every lawyer is quoting me at $700. I will only be in Mexico for a few days so I need it expedited. Did you get a lawyer to help?
Hi, I’m Peter. I want to come to Mexico. Can you link me up to an immigration lawyer that can help get the visa. I’m ready to pay for he/her Services. I have been watching TH-cam videos. Pls get back to me as soon as you can

You're welcome. You sign the tramite, and the formato basico during the appointment at the immigration office, whatever forms are not signed they will remind you before turning them in.
Once inside the office was it a smooth process or were they picky about stuff?
at the Guadalajara office everything was smooth
