For those who don't know, Ganzir is the name of the last GOC fortress and hope against to fend off the Foundation who went from protecting humanity to exterminating it after discovering a horrible truth. More information can be found in SCP 5000 which is a good read
@@dannylo5875 From what I remember reading, the foundation supposedly found out about an entity that fed upon the pain and sadness of humans, dead and alive... And that the only way to kill the entity and save the dead who were supposedly eternally suffering because of the entity, was to kill all living humans... What the entity was nobody knows for sure.
@@dannylo5875 If you read through the 5000 entry it'll have a link to a tale (believe it's called "disgusting") where 682 kind of explains why the foundation is destroying everything.
I think people are misinterpreting the story of scp-5000. The Ganzir wasn't just another hurdle the foundation had to leap over, it was more like a freaking MOUNTAIN that the foundation had to climb. The foundation threw everything they had at it yet it still wouldn't crack. In the end, the Ganzir fell for an unknown reason. For what we do know, under the right circumstances and without foundation plot armour, the Ganzir may have held up indefinitely or at least long enough for other GOIs to take meaningful action.

When I read SCP-5000, I always believed that Ganzir was probably one of if not the most absolutely nuts battles in human history. I don't think it was just the UNGOC, I like to believe any remaining national military forces were fighting along with small pockets of Chaos Insurgency. In my eyes, the battle on Ganzir wasn't just the last battle of the UNGOC, it was the last true battle of humanity. US, Chinese, Russian, and any other remaining military's soldiers, fighting together to give humanity one last chance. Even if they failed eventually, Ganzir stood strong until the end.
“As the evil men of the SCP foundation try and try, they will not break through the walls of the mighty Ganzir!,we shall defend humanity to our dying breath!”
Honestly, the song is beautiful and fits the story perfectly. SCP-5000 may be a story of death and destruction, but in it you see sworn enemies, the Serpent's Hand, the GOC, the Church of the Broken God, all bind together to save and protect humanity, one final time.

I’m in some way an UNGOC (it’s better to destroy than to keep it and contain it). However, the UNGOC are the true protectors Of the world. Just take a look to their objectives and even the risk they take to Protect humanity. Who was there When SCP-5000 and the SCP Foundatipn was being mad ? The GOC. They make So much effort. When everyone said “Dude fuck off” To “GANZIR’S DYING BREATH WILL BE IN FIGHTING! THE EVIL MEN OF THE FOUNDATION WILL NOT BREAK INTO THE WALLS OF GANZIR! LET THEM COME! LET THEM _DIE_ !”
The vibe of this just screams fighting a battle you can't win and/or a hardened defensive last stand, which is most likely what Ganzir was, being the fortified stronghold it is, the GOC probably defended it like hell, in one last stand, they had almost no allies left, and were on their own. This song is perfection, and I can easily envision what it would've looked like even if I hadn't known what scp 5000 was. Well done sir. Brilliantly fucking done.

It was their goal to destroy all anomalies to protect humanity, now they must protect humanity against the ones that turned their back on humanity. Great song as always. I think you should do a theme for SCP-3799, it's an interesting SCP for sure. It was originally something the Foundation made in an attempt to eliminate all anomalies, but it got out of hand and brought the entire world into a snowstorm that causes those who look at it to develop a religious interest in the snow. It was so bad that the SCP Foundation turned into the Snow Containment Foundation and apparently information about the original SCP Foundation was lost. Until one guy with all the documents of the SCP decided to march all the way to the source and cut himself (blood counteracts the cognitohazard) while he was in in it. This caused the core of all the snow and the corpse of the guy to apparently go back in time (I assume) which warned the SCP Foundation to basically not make the SCP.
@@isaac922 As I mentioned in the description, Scp-5000 was actually the Inspiration for this theme. @@sr.aleatorio5737 Indeed, we then MTF guy said that I realized the cruelty of the foundation and the name of the tale made sense. A Foundation that was originally made to protect humanity and now their only goal is to exterminate mankind. How cruel.
The fact that the GOC got to Ganzir first and The Foundation likely had no idea it even existed until they decided to declare war on humanity is really telling to the fact that, yes, there are still most certainly plenty of anomalous phenomena out there in the world that the Foundation still has no idea about while other GoI's do. I'd love to see a file from the GOC's perspective on Ganzir, it'll definitely be classified as whatever their version of Thaumiel is.
I love SCP 5000. It has such an interesting yet mysterious timeline to it, with so many explanations given for something that perhaps doesn’t deserve an explanation, just deserving to be appreciated. Nevertheless, I do have an explanation (I always try to understand stuff - much like the Foundation!), which I’m sure many others know as well. Spoiler ahead for those that haven’t read SCP-5000. The entire timeline starts as a result of Project PNEUMA finding… something in the psychospace, subconscious, whatever it is called. Potentially anomalous. They discover that they weren’t supposed to feel pain, that pain is caused by the thing they found, which they assume is anomalous. Because of the discovery, they release the 2 documents among Foundation staff and MTF (except at Exclusionary Sites, which is why Pietro Wilson wasn’t made aware until Lonely Only turned up and shot everyone), which are possibly cognitohazards or memetic agents. The first could be a memetic agent, potentially to start a “separation” process to separate our collective subconscious from the anomaly, and killing staff that are too intertwined with the entity to separate from it. The second document could then act as the “trigger” for the process, starting the process in the remaining people. When the process finishes, the Foundation then releases its TV message saying that “due to circumstances outside of our control, their goal has now changed to the eradication of humanity” (paraphrasing, but as close as I can remember). They did this because they didn’t want to alert everyone to their presence until the time was right - disseminating unknown documents to the general public wouldn’t be very effective and would give away the presence of a foundation that they never knew about that tried to keep them safe. Then later, Pietro looks in the distance and sees Foundation elements fighting an anomaly, which he thinks of as weird, as they ended up releasing anomalies to kill everyone. That anomaly could, I think, be the subconscious thing that they found, manifesting in a physical form, as it realises it’s under threat in the subconscious form. I don’t know what the deal is with SCP-579 and the “briefcase” that Pietro is holding, but given the stated effects that Pietro notices, I would say it’s an escape method for it to get out of the containment chamber. So, in some way, both the UNGOC 🇺🇳 and the SCP Foundation stayed true to their causes, but the Foundation slightly changed to destroy this entity. It is a weird SCP scenario, but incredibly interesting. It is a basic explanation, but for those curious, this is how I try to understand this SCP. Actually, while I’m thinking about it, maybe this ties into SCP-049. He talks about the “Pestilence”, and his way of curing people is turning them into mindless zombies. It sounds like the entity separates on death (or forced separation), so the person is “cured”. The documents act as our own “cure” for it by forcefully separating the entity from the person who receives the documents. So, weirdly enough, I’d consider SCP-049 to, in some ways, be a Thaumiel-class SCP when the event happens, as he tries to rid the world of the entity that he calls the “Pestilence”. Sounds weird to say that the Plague Doctor may be trying to help the Foundation.
I think the brifecase contains scp 055, because Pietro does not remember the time periods that contained memories of 055, plus, he says that it isnt round, and that is the only thing we know for real about 055.
I don’t think that IT (the entity in the psychospace is literally called IT) is the Pestilence, as 682 has it, and he actively helped the Foundation and became not only hateful but also contemptuous of the Foundation after the events of 5000. (I don’t know how he remembered the time-reset) The Foundation also only terminated the personnel at exclusionary sites because they couldn’t broadcast the cure to them- they are completely cut off Edit: The deal with the briefcase (055) and 579 is explained in “A love so forbidden it’s unknowable” or something like that.
Honestly, that always struck me as wierd. I mean nothing you say here is wrong, I just dont buy the O5s rationale here. I think they got infected with some Memetic hazzard that made them do what they did, and in disseminating the "Cure" they pulled the foundation in with them... what i am saying is that i dont trust the o5 when they declare the human condition to be an anomaly, if there are 13 people that dont know what it is to be those, its the council. Not that i have any prove of that, or that your summary isnt consistent with what little we know... its just that it doesnt sit right with me, and the cool thing is i get to ake my headcannon as i want it to be XD.
the question towards the end I have an answer for when the main character reaches the broken radio it has 3 numbers 579 this thing or person speaking through the radio is telling petrio to go to 579 to reset the timeline making it that the entity it will still be in the subconscious and so essentially this ending is the bad ending

i just don't know how ganzir fell, the GOC had most of the power in the siege of ganzir it's maybe because the foundation deployed SCP-2241 to assist with the siege at Ganzir but another thing wierd is why the Serpent's Hand didn't entered the fight while the foundation used these anomalies, only Kaijumancers from the Serpent's Hand engaged but then the Library detached from their universe
The interview log mentioned something about "Professor Crow's Europa," which I assume is a reference to Project Olympia, where Professor Kain Pathos Crow made use of multiple SCPs in order to produce an artificial superhuman for use as a Foundation asset. While the prototype certainly lived up to expectations, mass production was discontinued due to the cost in D-Class personnel (a whopping 40 of them were used as raw materials for the prototype alone) being deemed unacceptable. Of course, that would be a non-issue once the Foundation decided to abandon their previous priorities in favor of annihilating humanity, so I'm guessing that a modified version of the project was at least a major factor in the outcome. That may even have to do with how they got SCP-2241 to listen to them so well. As for the Serpent's Hand, well, the GOC are pretty much their arch-enemies. Even if they were willing to put that aside (which they probably would be, given the situation), that still means most of them would have been avoiding what was most likely the GOC's primary base of operations like the plague, and with it being a secluded fortress in the middle of the ocean, it's unlikely they'd have been able to arrive in full force at a moment's notice.
Many forget that the Serpent's Hand is not an organized faction like the Foundation or GOC. While LS or the Black Queen are the closest thing they have to a leader she isn't. The Hand is made of many smaller sects from across the multi verse. They are scholars not soldiers. And I will not call them cowards, detaching the Wanderers Library from the 5000 reality cut that reality off from the rest of the muli verse.

One thing I really like about SCP 5000 and the story archived within it is this battle it really shows that the GOC was directly part of the UN and that the UN actually was well… the UN the United Nations every nation, every people worked together to stop the rogue SCP foundation. It also shows how the GOC was the SCP foundations closest thing to a near pier adversary, and it really shows how powerful the foundation is because they are an independent international organization and they are able to go against the might of the entire world.
Despite rivalries SCP and UNGOC actually have a procedure that is an anomaly consider to be an unstoppable threat where both foundation work together. Imagine MTF units and UNGOC special forces work together can literally stop a horde of demons and monsters for decades.
The scary part of SCP-5000 is that SCP-682 might have been the good guy all along. Why did the SCP Foundation focus so much on killing him when other entities are potentially more destructive (SCP-096, SCP-173) or offer a crueler death (SCP-106)? because SCP-682 was the enemy of IT, that entity that resides in mankind's unconscious that shouldn't be there.
As much as i love this, i'd like some more... Speed and strength with this. It's basically the last stand of the only competent force the UN has against the SCP Foundation. I'd like to hear some speed of war and desperation of the struggle
Suggestion: a containment breach theme, that has a "research" vibe (hiperdimensional engineering), moves into the "prepare for action" (the task force has arrived) and ends with a longer, sad theme, where the foundation failed to control the breach? (I know that it would be like 9 minutes but maybe it would be worthy?) ( First part would be around 2 minutes, second 3 and the rest would be the last sad theme)
The odds were stacked against them, all of those inside Ganzir knew well. The odds of getting out of this alive were next to nothing, a scant 0.00001%. For those that don’t understand: In the Universe-5000 (universe where SCP-5000 originated) the Foundation discovered an entity that lived in the shared consciousness, also known as the psychospace, that gave a lot of humans emotions; pain, empathy, etc. The foundation found out the entity was going to do something extremely bad to the psychospace, in turn basically torturing all of humanity forever. The Foundation decided that killing humanity would be better than letting the entity kill them.

We don’t know exactly why Ganzir fell. However we do know that the GOC had captured several SCP operatives attempting to sneak in and had begun the interrogation of one of them right before it fell. My theory, and this is only a theory, is that during the course of this interrogation, members of the GOC learned the truth. They discovered the horrifying reason why the Foundation was trying to exterminate humanity and the reality was so terrible that it caused them to deliberately turn and destroy Ganzir from within.

Thank you!
And I'll look into that SCP, sounds like an interessting read to be read :)

@@emojisans2111 nope, the scp 001 past and future is a different one; it's the one with the utopians. If you're still not sure:

The SCP 001 past and future proposal summarised is about a timeline where the foundation discovers that humanity hadn't originally come from earth. Humans were a lost and rebelled descendand of "planet of hands" which were controlled by utopians.
Humans were necessary for suffering, because the utopians use people as scapegoats. There were a total of 7 planets for suffering, and everyone on the planet of hands had lost their hands.

The Foundation also used that in 001-WDB.
There is, It's called "Because" I believe.
Which is the GOC standpoint and the Battle of Ganzir goes more in depth there.
(I don’t know how he remembered the time-reset)
The Foundation also only terminated the personnel at exclusionary sites because they couldn’t broadcast the cure to them- they are completely cut off
Edit: The deal with the briefcase (055) and 579 is explained in “A love so forbidden it’s unknowable” or something like that.

A headcanon I have is that at Ganzir, it wasn't just GOC forces fighting the foundation. It was GOC forces banding together with whatever military that was left over from the old world governments. No matter the political standing, no matter the race, gender, ethnicity, they were all there to save humanity, and give the husk of the foundation one last show.
That literally WAS what happened, any remaining GOI and military was at ganzir
As the foundation stormed the final stronghold for the Global Occult Coalition, Chaos Insurgency, Church Of The Broken, God Serpents hand and Unusual incidents unit something incredible happened, ganzir stood. No matter how much artillery they bombed it with, how many airstrikes they called in, how many anomalies they sent in the brave men and women defended ganzir until their dying breaths and even then, using the serpent's hands magic and Church Of the Broken Gods technoligy, they fought even after death until the foundation were forced to use their strongest weapon, a nuclear bomb with the destructive power equivalent if not more powerful than the tsar bomba.

This. I hate when people try to play defense for the Foundation in this timeline. I don't care what entity they discovered, I don't care what the author said it was doing. Wiping out all of humanity is never the right choice or the best alternative. So the entity is supposedly responsible for humans feeling pain? So what? It also allows us to feel empathy. Humanity above all.
@@dr.veronica6155 Actually, it making us feel empathy makes sense. It explains why the Foundation took the path it did.
Perhaps. Looking at it from the foundation perspective the possibility of this being a threat and unable to be contained. Sometimes sacrifices must be made for the greater good. @@LiamHo-q8r at the same time it’s said the entity is responsible for humans feeling pain, fear, etc. but obviously humans have been experiencing those senses and feelings and emotions for hundreds of thousands of years and nothing bad has happened. @@stargazer-elite Sure. But again the foundation goal is to defend humans from SCPs. Two ways it goes. Either a) nothing survives or b) there is a slim chance of survival but u have to kill humans.

@@PolaroidIrisProductions Cool, it's pretty interesting!
The results were inevitable but the thought of surrender unthinkable
They werent inevitable
i just don't know how ganzir fell, the GOC had most of the power in the siege of ganzir it's maybe because the foundation deployed SCP-2241 to assist with the siege at Ganzir but another thing wierd is why the Serpent's Hand didn't entered the fight while the foundation used these anomalies, only Kaijumancers from the Serpent's Hand engaged but then the Library detached from their universe

Despite rivalries
SCP and UNGOC actually have a procedure that is an anomaly consider to be an unstoppable threat where both foundation work together.
Imagine MTF units and UNGOC special forces work together can literally stop a horde of demons and monsters for decades.
WAIT THEY DISCOVERED THE PEOPLE IN PAST AND FUTURE THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE I LOVE THE IDEA
Nice theory makes quite a bit of sense

As much as i love this, i'd like some more... Speed and strength with this. It's basically the last stand of the only competent force the UN has against the SCP Foundation. I'd like to hear some speed of war and desperation of the struggle
Suggestion: a containment breach theme, that has a "research" vibe (hiperdimensional engineering), moves into the "prepare for action" (the task force has arrived) and ends with a longer, sad theme, where the foundation failed to control the breach? (I know that it would be like 9 minutes but maybe it would be worthy?)
( First part would be around 2 minutes, second 3 and the rest would be the last sad theme)
Or just a class D theme would be cool
I love this concept, though i'm not quite sure how well it can be executed without it sounding stale or drawn-out. But i will look into it :)
@@PolaroidIrisProductions well, I have totally no idea about making music , 9 minutes was just a totally random number
The odds were stacked against them, all of those inside Ganzir knew well. The odds of getting out of this alive were next to nothing, a scant 0.00001%.
