Rich, this was exactly what I was looking for. I needed an experienced shooter to confirm a conclusion I'd made before I begin sighting in my new scope. Now I'm confident I'm heading down the right road. Well done, and thank you for the solid information.
I was told way back when that MilRAD is based on 2(PIE) for angle and not a metric measurement. At 1000 yards the measurement is the same MOA or MilRAD
Something I shouldn't find that amusing 😂 - 1 inch is surely bigger than one centimeter >2.54 - 1 meter is slightly bigger than a yard >1.093. - 1 mile is definitely bigger than 1km >1.6
Good video. Up until last year I worked in MOA. I found that once I started shooting much longer distances speaking in MILs with a spotter was easier.

Thank you! Great video with a simple explanation. What rifle is that on the wall that you were showing with the mRAD scope?
Its easy to convert 1 inch to 25.4mm in MOA. Yard to meter is just 1 is to 0.914.
Very nice and quick clarification of how to sight in yrds or meters
Glad it was helpful!
Calculating anything using decimals is a lot simpler and easier.
Do the benefits of the 100 yard zero (always holding high) apply to the 100 meter zero?
I couldn't find any info on this topic on your website
Thanks Rich, good info here.
Great to hear! Hope it helps!
Rich, can you clarify that 1 mil is 10cm? (100mm) or 10mm
Its 100mm.. 10mm is 1cm
