Basicly just doing RTM for almost 2 month for extra penny 😅 difficulty sometimes going down these week when ppl know AVN is more profitable. Doing GPU and CPU mining on the same rig by the way. Thank you for your videos doing experiment like this. It's very useful and make some new miners know what they have to do in the future😃

Doing the very same! Started with building 3 Rigs on Asus B450 Mobo with Ryzen 3900x. I was inspired to start Monero when it moved to CPu RandomX. And built up 6*3070 GPU on it. The whole idea was to be most efficent to do haven the CPU also at work. Running now sice RadomX came with this 3 Rigs.

the thing is GPU is way more profitable. But for you; your cpu is more because you don't have the latest gpu. If you can have all 3070 full hashrate you will be more profitable with gpu. I have 22x 3070 FHR, 3x 3060 ti FHR, 1x 3090 ( avg of 59mh at 112 watts in the software for the 3070 and 3060 ti and 104mh at 268 watts for the 3090! ) i look for efficiency every time! I still have 2x 5950x mining cpu coin to because of you! This is very cool that you look for a lot of option to mine with your CPU because we don't have a lot information on the web for cpu mining coin. I look all your video to get the most of my 2x 5950x ( 1 is at 3900mhz at 1.1v and the second is at 4000mhz at 1.1v ) KEEP up your good work!

Honestly I feel like this video is very missleading. You were smart(lucky) to get into coins early to make that kind of profit. The ROI on CPUs mining now is rediculous...it will take you a year and a half to break even on a second hand 3900x system.(and this is the most affordable and best cpu at the moment)

I have been buying entire pre-built PC's to get into mining. So far I've got a 1660 super/3900x cyberpower pc for $800, a 3080/5900x cyberpower pc for $2600, and a Redux 3090/5950x for $3200. Not counting the cost of all the upgrades I have done. I think I have $1200 in ram, cooler, and cpu upgrades. I'm doing this for 3 reasons. 1, I'm getting everything at MSRP or very near. Yes you may have to buy some ram or a cooler to upgrade, but that's still cheaper than a gpu alone. 2, I have rigs that cpu mine and gpu mine both. I could even mine with my storage if I wanted. It gives me flexibility. 3, If ethereum 2.0 or the government kills mining entirely (it won't) I still have PC's with intrinsic value. Probably more so than a gpu or cpu by itself. Until eth 2.0 floods the market with gpu's, I'm going to keep going this route.

lovely video, speaking of spec mining. I'm planning to make a weekly series (i think idk yet, i know i want to do it after rvn halving) of just spec mining coins on a gpu and cpu (rx 570 4gb and 1600x) for a week. Then i just record how much coins i mined and the earnings, how much the coin costs now if it even have a price (to use as a reference in the future) on a spread sheet, and look into the coin and learn about the coin's dev goals for the future and stuff. Then mine a different coin for a week and keep doing this over and over again.

My friend, you are a legend! Spec mining is great for those that want to actively participate in the market. However, for myself, I mine to invest. So the biggest factor for me is stability and ease of management. You are proof that you can make a huge profit if you are willing to put in the extra work of coin swapping on the regular. I will keep my ears to the ground as always to see what way the markets are turning and invest in hardware based on the long term. Which, by the way is currently a mixture of CPU and GPU rigs. My current favorite server blade to build is a 3970X with dual RX 6800's all pointed at the Ocean. We will see what happens when AMD releases their next gen CPU's with double the L3 cache and DDR5.

I got dogged for that linking me to whattomine and I should be mining profit. I already mined enough that if Shib goes to .001 which is more realistic than .01 even with next bull market my few months of mining would be $12,000 instead of $1,000. Broke out my amp clamp and have 17amps on that line with 6-3900x's, 1 5950 and a 5900x. My other cpu's are on a difference circuit. When I was running GR that line was running 13amps. hey how you doing? i think the question of what you should mine - totally depends - on so many things. if you have a GPU mining rig - try putting the cpu on a coin as well. see what happens - THEN if you like it you MAY have an easy option to upgrade the cpu in the mining rig. and remeber its easy to sell the cpu if you ever finish mining with the rig. we have a lot of old h81 boards and we easily and cheaply put lga1150 xeons in each board. also when its winter - it completely fine to mine with everything you possibly can because it saves on putting the heating on. whats gonna happens with prices of coins? who knows . but if a coin pumps you should sell some.

Coins go up and down in value all the time so you know it’s all a gamble in my mind what your going to wind up with. If you think you can’t sell coins on an exchange then learn how to use a DEX. Seriously spend a few minutes learning the tech your investing in and how it all works. That’s your best investment……..knowledge.

guys dont upset yourselfs with this miners GPU prices, you CAN NOT build a 1GH/s rig for 11K anymore, he was lucky to get things for MSRP. He is in the correct location, correct time and he has the correct moves when it was possible. Now days you are lucky to get a gpu double of MSRP minimum. The video it self is very missleading. Now days you wont be even build a cpu rig for that prices leave alone if you can, you cant make money on them. Gpu mining is the most profitable at the minute. Unless you are hugely lucky like this guy.

CPU mining is not worth it, GPU mining is the way to go.
Most of the best CPU mining coins are impossible to trade at good price cause they are on exchange with poor liquidity.
If it's not on Binance or a big exchange, just don't bother, it's a waste of time.
