I'm running around 1800+ delta on the VRAM and temps around 82-86 degree C. Will that high clock damage the GPU even tho temp is acceptable? For those interested it's around 103-105 MH/s at 230-245W.
Does it matter if systems with multiple GPUs have lots of dedicated PCI-Express lanes for mining? Is there an advantage of building a Threadripper system for the extra lanes?
My 6800 (non xt) has power consumption around 155-160w@60 mh. I measure from wall with only psu and the card connected. And I tried flash bios, it reduced to 142-150 on ETH, and I had stability issue after flashing. Generally speaking, if you keep your cards running within spec, they will last as long as any other card used for any other purpose. It's when people run their cards hot and at max power that life spans start to decrease. Immersion cooling is probably overkill. Each time you have to access your rig for whatever reason, you will have an unruly mess to contend with. If you power limit your GPUs and run them on an open air rack in a well ventilated room, you will get healthy temps without having to deal with an aquarium full of mineral oil.

Can someone please help me. Thanks in advance. M planning to build a rig today with 3 of these and m worried so m asking, else i can go with 6 1660 super instead.. which will be more future proof?
Actually with some tweaking using morepowertool (lowering your minimum gfx voltage on the non-xt or that and tdc limit SoC to that of the regular 6800 on the xt) you can get your power draw down to between 105-115w, making them even more efficient than 3060 ti's

If you can get a Vega 56/64 for around 500-600$ it would most likely outperform a 2080 super/ti from a price to performance standpoint. My 56 does 52.7 MH/s at 125 Watt on Ethash and around 200 MH/s at 190 Watt on Autolykos v2
I currently mine with my gaming PC that has a 3070. I plan to build a dedicated mining rig with multiple RX 6600 XT's, which I think are the best cards for hashrate/ efficiency/ price atm.
Hey, can I have a question?I got Gainward 3080 Phoenix (non GS version) from company as a benefit. So I played with it a bit and started to mine, as I still run my PC to remotelly connect from work. It's kind of understandable these cards weren't made for mining they were made for gaming first so people are understandably mad at people that mine and it wouldn't be that bad if we didn't have a pandemic now I'm trying to get into crypto mining but I also understand the gamer side too because I am a gamer I want to get a 3080 for my PC to game but I don't want to have to pay scalper prices And that's also making it harder for me to get cards for decent price to mine so I'm profitable
I have 6 RX Vega 64s and they all can hit 197 Mh/s on Ergo / Autolykos. That's heaps more profitable than Eth atm. Also they are half the price of a scalped 3060 with no hashrate limiter so no issues getting it to 50 Mh/s on Eth and almost double the Autolykos hashrate. Currently in the research phase, your information is super helpful and I am enjoying researching. That said, why does LHR not Matter for alt coins? Are they not all based on hash rates?
I just started mining about a week ago. I am using windows PC's. I just ordered a 2nd RX 580, both for about $760.00 each, I may be crazy. I started with ETH and got it up to 30-31 MH (thanks to your videos). But now decided to go with RVN. I am getting 11.5 MH right now but my temps are over 73 degrees. Can some one tell me if this is too Hot?
that is great video but pls i have one question, you are talking about lhr cards but can i mine on that hashrate for real? will lhr not work on another coins(non-eth)?
Got rid of all my 6700xts and end up with a XFX 6800xt merc as my gaming rig/mining on the side, a MSI gaming X trio 3070 non LHR and a Inno3d 3060. looking to expand on 3070s if possible.

@@MiningChamber I am afraid that RTX3080 ti would be outrun the 3080 in future. Someone may find the ways to unlock its performance.
@@MiningChamber ~ I'm new to mining & wondering if a Gaming Desktop with an AMD Ryzen; RTX3060/12GB will be great for mining some crypto currencies? Thanks for answering!
@@riccaruso7791 yeah it will definitely missing out if you don't atleast mine in nicehash
If you can get a Vega 56/64 for around 500-600$ it would most likely outperform a 2080 super/ti from a price to performance standpoint. My 56 does 52.7 MH/s at 125 Watt on Ethash and around 200 MH/s at 190 Watt on Autolykos v2
ssshhhh :P
that's so nuts im gonna look more into this. just starting to do research this is really good info thanks for sharing.
Right now I am getting 87.5MH/s with 75% power limit and I am getting 98°C on the memory. So for I found that its normal temperature and I should not be worried about it?
..::..
Hey do you recommend mining with 1080ti if I can find them used for 500-600 USD?
1080 TI can do around 50.5 Mh/s. your monthly income will be around $80-90 USD with FLUX ZelHash
Does this profit include the electricity charges?
Whats your opinion on rtx 2060 super. İts seems quite good from what i know
i hope miners keeping high profile on their mining endeavors, everybody outside miners and traders had very deep negative views on crypto now, the only thing is just miners keep pumping these content to make everything go kaboom
It's kind of understandable these cards weren't made for mining they were made for gaming first so people are understandably mad at people that mine and it wouldn't be that bad if we didn't have a pandemic now I'm trying to get into crypto mining but I also understand the gamer side too because I am a gamer I want to get a 3080 for my PC to game but I don't want to have to pay scalper prices And that's also making it harder for me to get cards for decent price to mine so I'm profitable
ı'm undecided you prefer 3080 or 3090 ? ı think 3080 s are make more sense but why so much people use 3090 ?
I have 6 RX Vega 64s and they all can hit 197 Mh/s on Ergo / Autolykos.
That's heaps more profitable than Eth atm.
Also they are half the price of a scalped 3060 with no hashrate limiter so no issues getting it to 50 Mh/s on Eth and almost double the Autolykos hashrate.
Vega 56s can also get similar performance with a little more tinkering.
They definitely should of been included in this list.
This is great. Thinking of mining on a RTX 3000 series laptop, but currently on a Desktop GTX 1080.
Currently in the research phase, your information is super helpful and I am enjoying researching. That said, why does LHR not Matter for alt coins? Are they not all based on hash rates?
NiceHash quickminer is ethash right?
ive got 3x gtx 1060 6gb. they use 300w at 73MH/s… i think its decent?
I just started mining about a week ago. I am using windows PC's. I just ordered a 2nd RX 580, both for about $760.00 each, I may be crazy. I started with ETH and got it up to 30-31 MH (thanks to your videos). But now decided to go with RVN. I am getting 11.5 MH right now but my temps are over 73 degrees. Can some one tell me if this is too Hot?
Hi, how about RTX 3060 TI LHR? If I able to get MSRP price, doest it worth to buy for mining on other algorithm instead of ethash.
In my opinion it's yes. Youl get it for cheaper and mine 20% less profits - not a financial advice
@@MiningChamber got it.. thanks bro
I got a Dell 3090 with Corsair water block waiting for fittings to come in to start the water-cooling loop
What does MSRP stand for
what about the rx 580? is it good at all?
Awesome vid, thanks for your effort in putting this together.
This channel is gold
Guys I’m new to mining. How do you keep track of what you’re mining so you can report it to the tax man? Do you use an app or..?? I’m from the UK
that is great video but pls i have one question, you are talking about lhr cards but can i mine on that hashrate for real? will lhr not work on another coins(non-eth)?
Lhr is only limiting Ethash, you can mine all the other coins other than ethereum
@@MiningChamber okay but than why do you say hashrates on eth when you are talking aboy 3080 and that lhr stuff?
thanks for attention
Thank you so much for this video brother, I love the way you categorized GPU's...
Best of luck always,
Sam 🎵✌🏻
Always a pleasure!
what about 1650 Super for raven coin mining i have two of them currently?
Got rid of all my 6700xts and end up with a XFX 6800xt merc as my gaming rig/mining on the side, a MSI gaming X trio 3070 non LHR and a Inno3d 3060. looking to expand on 3070s if possible.
Rx5600xt for mining with 1660 super ?
Are RX 580 good cards for mining ?
Do we have to modify the GPU?
My 3080 overclocked never goes over 46•c at 68* power with 100mhz/233w, how is that hot?
Good information.
how long does a card survive with memory overclocking and undervolting ?
When the 2.0 is coming if you may ?
