It would be better if we can copy and paste attributes to more than one clip. And also there are some needed features like Adjustment layer and ability to open a sequence with in timeline. Please take a look on them.
Thank you for your input. Yes, the copy function to multiple clips is checked right now and is on the wishlist for a coming update. Adjustment layers are also on the wishlist and a possible feature for one of the next updates.
Regarding: "ability to open a sequence with in timeline" - What do you mean? Double clip and the sequence opens?

And when will it be possible to create separate sequences with different resolutions and orientations in a project? how it is implemented in Adobe Premiere!

Dear Ruslan, I am sorry that you are struggeling with this feature "vertical orientation", but it is implemented since many years! In fact in 2 ways: You can either simply create your own project or project preset in any resolution, so also 1080x1920 or 1920x1920 or any resolution between 24x24 and 8192x4320. Just keep in mind to switch the setting for the aspect ratio to pixel aspect ratio 1:1 - not the typical 16:9 aspect ratio.
Different resolutions per sequence is on the wishlist. Right now, you can simply switch between the wanted resolutions and aspects by selection a different project preset - even while working.
For Wedding editing v need only advance transation and colour grading update.. pls add cinematic look colour or Lutz
I guess the seamless transitions and all the other transitions added in EDIUS X are great for wedding videos, right? And regarding LUTs: There are many free LUT collections available online, simply load them into the primary color correction. Choose those which you like best!
Good evening, I'm an Edius user since version 2.5 I currently have version X and I use A desktop + portable pc, I've always been able to use the license on both computers when I'm at weddings and from what I've read I see that I'm going to lose this advantage of being able to use the my laptop when out on duty. I would like to know if to be able to use it on two computers there is the possibility of deactivating the license on the desktop and activating it on the laptop or deactivating it on the laptop and activating it on the desktop without having problems with the deactivation limit and getting blocked?
Or if I have to reconsider the possibility of using Edius after so many years and recommending Edius to my colleagues, I will have to switch to another editing software that makes this option easier for me.

Dear José, thank you for your long message. Great to hear that you are a long term EDIUS user. You can activate 2 PCs with a regular EDIUS X Version at the same time - as long as you are just one person using EDIUS. If 2 Persons are working on 2 PCs, 2 licenses are needed, but if it is only you, you can activater and work on 2 PCs at the same time. Dear EDIUS User, thank you for your feedback! Blocking the sequence tabs has been discussed with the EDIUS team, but we only received little request for it and for some usser users this might be a trap that they block sequence tabs and can deblock them again, but there is a discussion to set difference colors for tabs, would that help?
And regarding the channel setting: Yes, in EDIUS 10.31 there will be a new function included that you are able to copy the setting to other clips. But I would recommend you to use the sequence settings and use the channel mapper - that is much easier! just select the tracks you need and route them how you want. It's very easy and fast to work like this!

Hello! intel 12th generation support is planned for 10.31 in March 2022. It works already now if you disable hardware decoding, but in the future it will work fine with QuickSync hardwaredecoding.

Wann wird denn der Threadripper 3970x unterstützt/optimiert? Kann ja nicht sein das man mit 64 Threads keine 4 Spuren in 4k 10bit abspielen kann. Da erwarte ich eine bessere Performance, sonst muss ich mich nach einer anderen Software umschauen.
Der Threadripper wird voll unterstützt. Wir nutzen ihn hier inten auch. Es ist aber vom Codec abhängig, wie gut die Videodateien decodiert werden können. Ideal ist z.B. Grass Valley HQX. Da bekommt man eine volle CPU Auslastung. EDIUS X 10.30 unterstützt nun auch eine einfache Batchkonvertierung mit Namensänderung, falls das Material in einem schlecht dekodierbaren Format vorliegt.
@@EDIUSNET Die Konvertierung hat nur bei einem Clip geklappt. Bei den Restlichen ist ein Fehler auf getreten und konnte daher nicht weiter testen. In einem anderen Projekt wo ich großteils png-Sequenzen benutze die in den HQX Konvertiert sind schafft er ohne Effekte gerade so 5 Spuren mit einer Auslastung von 70%.
Projekteinstellungen 4k 8-bit 24fps, Resampling-Methode
Bereichsdurchschnitt (Schnell und scharf).
Könnte besser sein.
@@lisamuller8778 Evtl. noch prüfen, ob die Festplatte zum Flaschenhalz wird und die Daten auf 2 SSDs o.ä. verteilen. Für mehr performance gibt es sonst noch die Funktionen Proxy, Frame Skipping oder Draft Preview. Nutzen Sie einen 4K Vorschaumonitor per I/O Hardware angebunden, oder nur die Vorschau auf dem PC Monitor (welche Auflösung)?
@@EDIUSNET ich habe 2x Samsung 980 Pro PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 verbaut, einmal für System und einmal für Ediusprojekte. Die Optimierungsmöglichkeiten sind mir bewusst aber mir geht es darum dass die Kombination von CPU und Edius nicht bessere Ergebnisse liefert. Woran kann das liegen? Die Ausgabe erfolgt momentan noch auf einem Full HD Monitor.
@@lisamuller8778 Die SSDs sind schon mal super. Bei Ausgabe auf einen Full-HD Monitor würde ich empfehlen die Auflösung der Vorschau auch auf Full-HD zu stellen, das kann man machen, indem man die Vorschau auf 1/2 ändert. Das dürfte die Performance massiv verbessern. Aktuell rechnet der PC die UHD Auflösung und dann wird das Ergebnis auf Full-HD runterskaliert. Besser wäre gleich die Vorschau auf Full-HD zu ändern, Sie werden keinen Unterschied sehen, aber die Performance ist wesentlich besser.
I hope Grass Valley throw more resources behind Edius. There seems to be a lot of feature requests.

La nuova opzione offre un vantaggio se si dispone di un film lungo 1 ora e si desidera ritagliare un breve pezzo di 5 secondi. I 5 secondi sono appena visibili nel normale display, ma se ingrandisci l'area, puoi vederla molto bene e puoi lavorare perfettamente anche con il mouse. In caso contrario si consiglia l'uso della tastiera. Quindi posso navigare facilmente con i tasti cursore, l'input del codice temporale o JKL.

How to cut clip automaticaly on markers?
Hello! There is not yet such a function, but we can put it in the wishlist.
You can so it manually or by using a macro:
Add timeline markers go to the beginning of the timeline (POS1), then use a makro with these two keys:
SHIFT + PAGE-DOWN
SHIFT+C
It will go to the next marker and cut all clips at that point in time.
