The best feature of EDIUS 11 for me is the new Mync which is finally synced with EDIUS. I can label, find, and share my edited clips with any project regardless of the project frame rate and dimensions. Will there be a search box for markers and comments? Also a filter search box in EDIUS? I hope EDIUS will use XMP metadata in the future.

When we work on 2nd sequence with many footages of first sequence, many times first sequence doesn't need a footage anywhere, first sequence double click If the sequence is opened then we have to find the footage but we will get the footage automatically this option is more needed. Check out everyone's opinions. This option is very important.
Too bad you removed the home edition version. Video editing is just my hobby and I don't want to pay full price for the Pro version.
Hello! Thank you for your input. We have offered the Home Edition never at product start of a new version of EDIUS, so there is a good chance that we will be able to offer it later in the product cycle. That is kind of part of the deal.

Edius 11 automatically delete Edius X after Installation and after installing the trial version, I could not find some the new features.
You can install use EDIUS 11 or X on the system. After testing you can either buy EDIUS 11 or deinstall EDIUS 11 and install EDIUS X again. There are many new features in EDIUS 11, the the feature video. We will explain one by one in videos in detail, like in this video the ai based voice cleaner.

What is name of the external tool or app. for the scene detection in Edius 11?
It is a script we did on our own, so it is not yet public. We are testing right now what feature would be nice to add to EDIUS and publish the tools for it.

You mean settings? EDIUS 11 uses your existing settings and presets from EDIUS X. But you can generate new presets as well.
Will I need the workgroup version or Chorus to run any external scripts like the example in the video? Thanks
No! Even EDIUS X Pro comes already with the Chorus Hub, so no Chorus Hub Server is needed to work with AI and the lokal database. If you want to connect more EDIUS/Mync system, then you need the Chorus Huib Server.

@@DonalJennings Sorry, that was not 100% easy to understand: There is the Chorus Hub, which is part of EDIUS 11. Every EDIUS 11 system brings a Chorus Hub. By using this Chorus hub, Mync and EDIUS can share data and AI services and QC (Quality Check) and other tools can connect. If you want to work withh EDIUS 11 in a team of 2 or more, you need the EDIUS Hub SERVER, which is installed on a Server System to connects two or more EDIUS 11 Clients.
Thank you @@EDIUSNET this is fantastic news. I'm currently using lots of AutoHotkey scripts to speed up my workflow. It would be much easier to use Python scripts and connect to EDIUS/Mync built-in open API (also called Chorus Hub). This will definitely make EDIUS Pro the fastest editor. :)
With the help of AI in Edius 11, there will be cartoon animation of the footage. Is this video not explained about animating the video in AI?
Using generative AI in EDIUS is definitly a target we want to integrate in EDIUS 11. The question is, how to do it. Do just want to convert an existing video to an animated video?
