Bro Metal Knight is so overpowered in this new smash brothers brawl. Everyone just spams his down B in this new patch 5.56. If he didn't spawn with level 3 helmet and armour i think the game would be much more fair. Hopefully the upcoming update should be good to nerf him and the new 8 times scope snake gets might actually counter him. Plus, who else is excited for the new SS3 Gokon to come out!!!

I kind of get what you mean, I main Ridley and most of the guides aren't as helpful as the ones I watched when I mained Falco. With Falco they actually described how to approach, how to use laser offstage to set up for a fair or spike, etc. With Ridley I've only seen moveset break downs and combos

I’ve always liked Meta Knight, even in Brawl when I was a kid (didn’t know MK was top tier...). Now I feel motivated to pick MK up again. Any tips on how to do Uair string to Up B?
MK is actually hard in this game... you can't spam B or use shuttle loopout of shit... upair is slower and doesn't always connect. nado has mad endlag, transient priority on the sword is gone... and the sword lacks serious range.
MK can gimp and play excellent off stage game... but good luck doing well with him in bracket.
Using jump+ tilt_stick allows you to freely maneuver with the left stick than if you were to use up and A. You don’t always have to carry them to the top, you can also ladder them to the sides and finish them off with Tornadoz
The character has much more to do than just doing his one flashy ladder combo
Make your ZR button a jump button, C stick tilt attacks, then to practice, set DK to 25%, no charge up smash DK, catch DK with x+a, then hold ZR and rhythmically tap up with C stick to jump and slice, also move your other control stick side to side to make sure the DK doesn’t fall out, after sixth up air jump, up b. After u get the hang of this, start trying other tricks, like fast falling during the combo, and throw to ladder
a good tip is that after your 2nd jump you dont have to keep pressing jump you can just hold the jump button after the 2nd and it will keep jumping, so if you land the first two upairs you are free to hold the button to continue the string, it makes it easier to DI the combo in the direction needed as most times you dont have to fastfall until the 3rd hit of upair

I love how MK actually takes skill unlike the majority of the characters (notably top tiers) in this game.

I honestly feel pichu is incredibly easy to play. His combos are so intuitive and he has easy kill confirms
Doing combos with meta Knight requires a lot of hand dexterity and tbh practicing combos with meta Knight makes my hands cramp sometimes

Before I got into the Kirby series, I never realised how high-quality Meta Knight's skins are, dang. They even went so far as to change his whole visor/mask for Galacta Knight and Dark Meta Knight, it's not just recolours. That's so cool!

Only gripe with Meta Knight in Ultimate: Dark Meta Knight/Galacta Knight/Morpho Knight is not an echo fighter.
Dark Pit and Dark Samus are lucky and distinct enough to get a spot.
MK echos only made appearances in one game... Kirby characters don't get the love like others do. BE happy MK and Dedede are still around
@@Matanumi but Galacta Knight has been the secret final boss of multiple Kirby games since 2008, and the Kirby community knows for a fact that the possible Meta Echoes could be completely unique fighters outright with their special abilities and properties. Can MK open a space time rift instantaneously; Can he summon giant mirror swords from the ground; Can he fight you with shadow clones of himself; Can he destroy a multiverse ending entity in a single blow; can he turn his enemies into allies by screeching; can he summon the dead to aid him in battle; can he....you get the point.

@@meta9492 yes actually. They all share shuttle loop as an attack, and up-air is a made up move based on MK's fighting style, so yes. If anything, GK would say "fight me" more, because it's implied that it's the only thing he really cares about.
That last match triggered me, mainly because of that one guy commentating "Yo! Did he just stand there, and up smash?!" 🙄

Up B and gliding are one of the reasons but he was basically the best spacy with hitboxes larger than Marth's and the fact that Meta Knight never has to touch the ground meaning he never has to worry about tripping(which was annoying in brawl).
So imagine him spamming arials like in this video but with a larger hitbox on each one.
Karl Cossaboon he could literally kill you at 0% just by doing up airs. It's like lucas' pk fire, those moves sent you fly. BTW if you didn't try ssbb I would trash ssbu and buy ssbb instead, just sayin.

META KNIGHT IS TRULY THE BEST
I know people still got their brawl PTSD and rightfully so, but MK would be really cool to have as a top or high tier in this game
I love how they buffed meta Knight from smash 4. In smash 4 he was actually pure garbage. No, he's not OP because to play this good you need skill. K rool is still the most OP character because you can play like garbage and still have a good chance of winning.
Yet MK is somehow mid tier...other characters got better tools and MK neutral is hard and frustrating to play at times

Meta Knight is actually amongst one of the best characters in Smash 4 until Nintendo nerfed his aerials, this game, he wasn’t even that good anymore

Anyone else thinks all meta knight specials are very punichable. I feel like whenever i use any special, especially the tornedo, meta knight freezes for like 6 or 7 frames which is huge comparing to other caracters !
Thats why you only use it to finish or against projectiles. In general i would recommend only using tornado to attack and up plus side b only to position yourself.
Soufien Hajji they're very risky now, especially that neutral b. I never use that special move
Neutral B is a good ledge guarding tool, 2 frame tool, and can be a combo finisher for the up air ladder off of the side blast zones.
Side B is a recovery tool, it can kill, and it can gimp opponents if you grab ledge right before the last hit.
Down B can be used in disadvantage, can kill, and can be used as a teleport recovery.
Up B is a recovery tool, it can kill, and it's a combo finisher.

So basically the strategy is to get ur opponent in the air spam ur up air and then use either neutral b or up b

I main metà knight because he Is a all in
He Is a sword man
His 4 special moves are strong and recovery moves too.
He can start a combo with every move.
He Is fast
He can fly
He can teleport
His neutral A Is infinite
High recovery
And on top of that his moves on the ground and in the air have really short cooldown.
He Is Just an all-in he needs only a Spike and then he Is broken.

Just remember that his attacks are really weak, and that you have to be really good to time those combos perfectly.
"Combo" meaning dash -> up air -> up air -> up air...
@@TessaLucy well technically you fail the up-air combo, you can use fair or b-air as a finisher, but if you do get all up-airs, you can finish with either a shuttle loop or a mach tornado.
