coming from the melee side of things... in the second clip, before the warlock punch, why doesn't Wolf's bair interrupt ganon's startup? does it have invincibility frames or some damage threshold to be interrupted?
The superarmor covers full body starting on frame 11 and lasts until the punch starts. Ganon’s armor has no damage limit but is only activated if the move is started on the ground
It’s crazy how the commentators can’t really do much but talk down on ganon even as this dude is cooking and making pro-plays and the commentators are just like “ayo wtf” mid-trash-talking.
I wouldn't call him viable, but he can still take insane wins. His skill ceiling is high, sure, but his skill floor is shockingly high as well because if you're not insanely good with the character then you don't stand a chance. Also, Ganon has the worst recovery in the game, bar none. Worse than Little Mac, worse than Dr. Mario. His recovery has absolutely no mix-ups, and his only horizontal recovery option is atrociously bad Aka if you are off stage and get hit once, you die. And that's tacked onto the worst character in the game You can win games with him, he's not useless. But calling him viable is a bit of an overstatement
