    3:53 thank you for finally showing the true Oakland Coliseum, and how it look for most of its years when hosting the Oakland A’s, who were a championship franchise in the 70s and late 80s. Mount Davis ruined that place.

      No it didn’t it just made it look worse plus the foundation fucked it since it’s 1 made with concrete and you can’t really do any renovations to fix it

    The lack of care for the job of Supervisor and Mayor and City Council can be held accountable for the policies to happen. The Location for the the Athletic Village was perfect. The administration of this valuable asset was a DISASTER. EVERY POSSIBLE MISTAKE HAS BEEN MADE.....GOOD LORD!!!!

    I've been an OAKLAND A's fan since I was in Little League in the '70s my first ever major league game was the Boston Redsox vs the Oakland Athletics, Living Near Sacramento it was a short drive to the Alameda County Coliseum. Couldn't they refurbish the ballpark instead of trying to build at the Port Of Oakland? I am sure that remodeling the stadium would cost less than building and New Ballpark would. I hate to think of the A's moving to LAS VAGAS I am 62 years old now and I get the MLBTV package just to watch the A's games, I now live near Seattle and I am NOT going to become a Seattle Mariners Fan.

    I feel badly for A's fans. Oakland has some of the most passionate and loyal fans in the sports world. I've only driven past the Coliseum a couple of times, never been inside. But, with all due respect, what a dump.

    I love this video, amazing job. I support the Athletics ownership, they have been trying to build a new stadium for ages. The City of Oakland government is a joke and the crime is rising like crazy. The reason why the Athletics cut down all the perks they created a couple of years ago is because they are making the effort to stay but the government of Oakland is refusing to do jack shit. Also I will call out Athletics fans, who don't show up. Back in 2018 and 2019 during the "golden time", fans were not showing up. I would go to 75 percent of the home games and nobody ever came. The only time they did was for the Giants and the 2019 wildcard game. The City of Oakland government is by far the worst I have ever seen, even compared to the San Francisco.

      It's funny that structures built in the '70s are decrepit when ballparks built in the 1920s are still standing. Greed is ruining modern sports.

    • @stadiumsafari

    • @stadiumsafari
      @stadiumsafari  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mikephalen3162 Some truth to that. Some stadiums from the 20s received renovations as they aged. The Coliseum did the same but out of spite to be more suitable for football.
