  • How to recover from Lumbar Spine disc bulges L4 L5 L5 S1
    Yeltsin is an online client who lives in Australia and has been suffering from lumbar disc herniation in L5 S1 for the last 3 months.
    We have started his rehab plan 12 weeks ago with me and he is now his almost pain free and has been able to stay active and follow his daily rehab and active daily living pain free.
    I have shared in this video 6 movements that he does daily 2 to 3 times. Watch the video till the end.
    He has gained physical and mental confidence and in this stage is pain free and back to the gym training 3 times a week and he is able to walk again pain free.
    In this video I've simply gone through his story and he shares with you what he went through since he got his lower back MRI report and how he found the online program so far.
    If you are suffering from disc bulges, disc herniation, conservative treatment and customized rehab exercises are the 1st and best option for your recovery.
    If you need help, feel free to leave me a comment and I would be happy to help. If you need further assistance you can always book an online consultation for a customized rehab plan.

    I need to find a person that like you that genuinely cares., 🙏 I am a very active athletic male that competes in competitions but all that stopped a few months ago I have had a disc bulge issues for 3 years now but it comes and goes at different levels of pain and discomfort. I have done so much PT for it. And In the past 4 - 6 months it has gotten extremely worst I even needed a steroid shot to bring down the pain. 😢 For someone like myself who was so active this is so demoralizing and depressiong. I watch these type of videos every day to try and learned. Currently I'm trying to get my insurance to cover disc decompression therapy.

    • @bobthephysio
      @bobthephysio  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks Juan, I believe you can recover by having a plan and structure to follow daily. The plan has to be measurable other wise you wont be able to know what’s really aggravates your symptoms and giving you a flare up !! spinal decompression is a great tools for acute phase when you initially got sore. At this moment research and study does not shows much benefits from spinal decompression with chronic back patient. You need to remind yourself, the goal of the rehabilitation shouldn’t be only getting pin free. The goal is to get back doing what you love gradually by building physical and mental trust to your body & your back 👍

    Great video Bob, you have several other videos that are also great helpers too. I have suffered from back pain for the last 30 years from a football injury and still get it now and then.- your channel helps me and many others with some new advice and exercises so thx for it. One thing to mention that really helped me was to quit doing squats, dead lifts, leg presses and sit ups - I know it sounds a little funny but my Dr. of Physical Therapy recommended that these should not be done by people with lower back pain, weak discs etc(like me) and it was a god send to me as when I quit them my back was much much better. Just my experience that worked for me. Keep up the good work as we need it.

    Sir, may I ask you my doubt that, while doing all these exercises our muscle core gets strengthened and gets a relief for the bulged disc and the pressure on the spine.. But isn't working like a liver in physics? Like when we strengthen the muscle, which act as the shaft of the liver, won't the fulcrum gets damaged? That is the joint/disc act as a fulcrum point right? How to deal with this? Whether diet can provide a hydration? So that the complete wellness can be maintained while practicing these? Sir, please correct me if I'm wrong on this, expecting your valuable reply

    @bobthephysio Hi Doctor, I have Disc Dorsal Extrusion (Disc Extrusion/Herniation) in my L5S1 causing absolute spinal stenosis for more than 2 months now. I am keeping myself acive by walking and be active as much as I can. When I start to walk, after a 100 meters the pain and pinching starts shooting from my right butt down to my thigh, leg and calf (I have it only in my right leg). I did MRI and went to doctors, and they are suggesting surgery which I don't want. My question is that will these exercises help me recover from this? I would be very grateful for your response. Thank you very much

    • @bobthephysio
      @bobthephysio  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can start with this routine for the 1st 2 to 3 weeks, this will help you with pain relief. But if you want to fully recover you need to progress and I must say, you need time let say 20 weeks of customised rehab plan with coaching on pain and daily activity modifications. I would highly recommend that instead of surgery, I believe you can recover and if you never try you never know. Let me know if you interested to get a customised plan. Bob

    Hello Bob.
    I have a doubt about the exercicies. Should I do them when I am pain free or just when I suffer pain due to hernial discal?
    I´ll be waiting for your recommendations .
    Thanks a lot !!
