This. I love collecting and owning OG copies but if it gets to a point where people are getting priced out and a lot of retro stuff becomes unobtainable for people, then give us port. I know emulation is a thing, but that's not everyone's thing so having a legit way for people to have access to retro stuff, is awesome. Port more retro stuff! Especially those expensive games.
Megaman Legends 1&2, Tron Bonne, and Strider 2 are all on PS3* PSN for 9.99 a pop. Some if not all are playable/straight downloadable to a Vita too, and they look and play amazing. You can even connect the PSTriple via component cable on an old tube TV too, to make PS1/PS2 games look even better.

I have MML1 and Strider 2(found it last year, traded a bunch of games I didn't want for it) but I imagine I will probably never own Tron Bonne because of its price, and MML2 I'd have to get some sort of deal on/have the money on hand to justify its current price.
The game you are speaking of in the first segment is strider x ... the localization was messed up and put strider 2s title over strider x art. It's kinda goofy. And yeah in the second segment Plasma sword and star gladiator are the same series but named incorrectly one is the pal name and the other jps haha.
Bro, Capcom vs SNK pro for the Dreamcast is beautiful, the PS1 version holds up as a game, but the stages don't compare. When it comes to MegaMan Legends, I've always said Capcom should put MegaMan 64 on NSO
Capcom is never going to do a Mega Man Legends Collection on the Switch or its successor unless they are ready to release Mega Man Legends 3. Do you know what kind of Forrest fire Capcom would ignite by re releasing those games with no Mega Man Legends 3 in sight? On a Nintendo portable console no less? Capcom does not want that smoke, I assure you.
Oh, if only they would make a sequel to Megaman legends but now that I the original creator is gone it’s just dashed across the rocks dead failed dreams it just feels like a crime not to do anything with those properties
Innovation is overrated. Lol. At this point, I have not played a game in the last decade that I went. "This is new". I play mostly indies which is where "innovation" lies. I just need thing inproved upon and "fresh". Gone are the days where games, movies, books, come out and its nothing you can't point to that already existed in a different form.
The more games ported the better. There shouldn’t be any untouchable retro games when it comes to ports, remasters and remakes
