Best Upgrade So Far?! Land Rover Defender 90 Restoration

Hello everyone,
It’s great to be back uploading videos! Today we were finally able to unbox and install our new seat belt bar / cage. The kit looks great and was relatively easy to install (if we can do it you definitely can).
We also started protecting the underside of the car which is a job we have been meaning to do for a while.
Thank you all for your patience with the project and continued support! We love making these videos and have grand plans for the future, so it’s super exciting to be uploading again. In the coming weeks we will be fitting a new dashboard and addressing the door situation…

Great to see you uploading again, I had wondered why there had been an absence in videos. Liking the addition of the bars you added. I think a gentle wet sand should solve your paint issue that you had with the bonnet.

Looking good guys! I'm also starting to restore an old Military 1988 Land Rover 90 here in Pennsylvania, USA. For the roll bar, what brand or where did you get it? Also, what is the height from top of tailgate to top of roll bar? Trying to calculate if my Rover is going to fit in my garage after new tires and soft top!

Hello mate, thank you for watching! The car is currently at a garage however as soon as I get it back I’ll get those measurements for you! Regarding the roll bar it’s by a brand called Purely metal based in the UK!

Paint the bonnet "tape line" (underside) in black underseal paint so it looks like you meant it :)
