It’s almost the same or perhaps same architectural design. Fun fact about The projector cinema one of the hall is called “redrum” but if u spell backward is call “murder” Thanks for showing us the inner beauty of the mall. Great job as usual.

It was Singapore’s first premier cinema to its current state. The circular staircase was a thing that children would play with its thick red carpeting. Great memories from this place and its sister building next to it. More can be done to refurbish the building. The stationary shop is probably the last of the only original tenants 🎉😊

The soup is light but a hidden secret is requesting for the miso paste (tau jwee) which we will mix into the meat which in turns flavours the soup :D their satay, chicken rice, and chilli + ginger sauces is delicious! Specifically for the chicken rice, it's not that oily or heavy, you could easily finish 2 bowls if you want to X)

It was over the years that the cinema operator wanted to maximise profits, hence they partitioned off the huge screening hall this way to screen more movies.
The chicken rice shop bears the same name as the so-called very first shop (Purvis Street area) which started Hainanese Chicken Rice aka 瑞记, so many people thought it's the descendant or disciple or that original shop but it isn't (they said that in one of the TV interviews last time). There is actually many cars with no carplate in the carpark because carfleetauto is located there… it is a car dealership selling brand new , used and consignment cars

这以前是中桥院线的黄金剧院，还有黄金试片室。黄金试片室座椅有点像GV Gold class, 不过没有GV Gold class 这么大，大概20多张座位这样，专门播放中国电影，类似宣传共产党思想的电影，大多是老年人去看，忘了是播电影前还是后会播中国国歌，老年人都会随着拍拍子😅。黄金剧院就是普通电影院。
