I really want to thank Hong’s sister for introducing the Goo Gone. I’ve been trying all means to remove a sticky residue on my water bottle but was not able to fully remove the patch until I tried Goo Gone. I bought it after watching this video. It's so rare to find someone doing Coronation Plaza vlog. It's great to know the shops are still serving the students and residents well even though many of them have changed. I remember playing hide and seek with my friends in the whole buidling when I was studying in the area. This video motivated me to go back to gai gai and take a look.
Really interesting to know it’s served generations of students in the estate. It is rather similar to Katong shopping centre in east, where my friends and I hung out frequently when we were schooling back then
@@HongisBored yes! These malls provide so many wonderful memories for students. The NTUC used to have baggage deposit counter so we can deposit our school bags there and have fun at the mall. The Cosy Corner used to make their own popiah skin from egg white. It was super soft, totally stood out from all other popiahs. 暴露年龄了🤣🤣
Actually i dont mind yall having longer videos ahah it is fun to watch even longer than 30 minutes tbh. Feel free to leave more footage in i think the audience will still enjoy

Hi Hong. So happen was at coronation plaza today and decided to check out the popiah shop. I usually eat my popiah at the other shop just next to the escalator and which also sells the waffles. Personally I think the waffle shop one is nicer as the ingredients are still fresh and warm. Anyway I also visited the agar agar shop first time and the ahma was so sweet!! 🥲 my kid told her we saw her on TH-cam and she smiled so wide and gave my daughter a big hug. I love her to bits already. And her agar2 is super yums

Your videos are nice to watch because 你們姐弟的互動很自然，很多話。 Also you guys make interesting finds eg the agar agar shop that sells interestingly designed agar agar 'cakes'，inclu interviews with store owners and employees. Like I've been there so many times because my children went to schools there but I didn't know the local brand of double sided tape is sold there... now i know and will support this brand. Keep it up!

30 years ago there used to be a western stall in coronation plaza. They served the best buns... like the ones KFC used to sell.

近年很多邻里杂货店都有带这个牌子的双面胶。不过去coronation plaza 可以吃那个popiah. 👍
任何胶纸都有一定的保用期，不要一次买太多，也不要放在晒得到太阳的地方。🙋🏻♀️

The popiah taste is pretty decent however it all depends on who's wrapping it! If it's the older (grumpy) guy then forget it- the whole popiah will fall into pieces the moment you pick it up. Its always loosely wrapped and super annoying when the skin doesn't hold and the fillings fall out.
Very pro tip I like haha. Shall wait for the grumpy guy to go toilet then I order 😂

Never buy~ his description and my understanding of the material, i think it should be good but probably will start to deform after a few times use cause of the way the fibre is woven. But hor this material very gd for sucking up big volume of water if u accidentally spill a lot on floor. Cause it can suck up a lot of water and u can wring it until very dry to repeat the process. For the price I think worth a shot.

哇这个我请教她一下 但可能你到五金店问问 比较快 哈哈
尝试过好多都没有好的效果。对锈我的总结是材质本身最重要，有些铁是你处理好了第二天又长锈了。所以购买铁制品时我觉得品牌很重要。五金店的uncle aunty可以推荐个别档次。我的首选是老字号牌子，如果价格差不太多我永远相信德国的产品，再来时韩国和台湾。如果不是会常触碰到的譬如trolley的螺丝, 门窗的hinge一定要时不时补一层WD40. 防氧化，防生锈。在那之前用打磨纸抹掉表面的锈，把表面扫干净。
有好的除锈经验的朋友请在这里分享！我也想知道！🙏

True. Learn it through the hard way. Couldn't find the Chinese word with "zhao" Hanyu Pinyin. Only appear when I search with "cao". 😅
