As a former Parkway NTUC Fairprice Xtra staff, the kitchen there brought back some fond memories and i really love their food. I hardly ever ordered out of the menu, usually just the normal fried rice, fish and chips,mac & cheese, spaghetti(for children) or rice with chicken cubes. Sometimes when eat until dunno what to eat, they will even suggest some out of menu stuff for me.

Parkway Parade 商场是在1983年年尾开幕的, 刚好赶上当年的圣诞节购物季, 它也是当时新加坡最大的shopping mall.

Reminds me of my visit to a supermarket in Shanghai. They also have this concept of you picking the raw ingredients and have them cook for you instantly. The food was fresh and cheap. But I don't remember they have a bar mixing cocktails for consumers. I shall give it a try on this concept in Singapore.
It’s pretty special. But not a lot of ingredients qualify for the cooking option, do take note. Highly recommend the fried fish with pesto though
Ever passed by this building to Holiday Inn Express next door when the hotel was served as Quarantine facility. Saw some muay thai studio there and the people doesn't seems to be friendly.

Really love the idea on exploring old malls in Singapore! Can try old neighbourhood areas but no aircon lah! 😂 Also apparently someone tell me, you can tell people’s age if they say NTUC or Fairprice! I grew up saying NTUC too! 😅

The first time i heard abt parkway was when i was 6, my father called home and asked me in hokkien 明天要不要去parkway. However at that age all i heard was 明天要不要 park kway (chicken in hokkien) . I thought he was asking me if i want roast chicken or something. I waited all day for the kway the following day when we were there. I did not know the place was called parkway then.

And the best part it's so affordable
To be fair the Martell is a cocktail, not sure if they offer it on the rocks haha. But it’s truly bang-for-the-buck indeed!

Hi, ingredients will depend on what you pick, but basically it’ll be the price of ingredients u buy from FairPrice. The last time I went, the cooking charges are as follows:
•Seafood or Meat charges will be at $8 for the first 500gn $2 per additional 100gms. Brown sauce will be provide for Steaks. Lemon wedge will be provided for Seafood.
• Premium cooking charges for seafood or meat:
$10 for the first 500g, $3 for the next 100g per dish
Cooking charges for vegetables: $4 for the first 500g per dish
• This service is not applicable to frozen food
