Good points Dr. Fahey.. regarding Most patients do not do research and/or are Not financially privileged to shop for “perfect” non HMO doctors who will have knowledge to assist with food and lifestyle improvements.

No one ever talks about the fact that most blue zone cultures live near the ocean. Clean ocean air is a big deal

I had a grandmother who lived to be 106.
She had pork chops and kefir with her eggs every morning. Very little greens except for cabbage and beets.
Lots of lard and butter and rye bread. Chicken every Sunday.

It's sugar that is limited in most blue zones. Any sugar eaten is consumed with a high fiber meal.

great grand parent died at 100, due to broken hip (no chronic disease), he just ate vegetarian meal (not so fancy one just broken wheat, lentil, rice and vege + ofc milk tea) 3 times a day, in limit, spend most of his time outside and was quite skinny. SO i think, diet has to do litlle, till people are not over eating, and eating non processed food and living active lifestyle.

56:36 your inching closer and closer 🫡.
Edit: 1:01:44 and there's the crux. As tempting as it is, we truly need to uncouple disciplines and keep our focus crystal clear when it comes to nutrtion, animal rights, and the environment. CAFO'S are bad for health, the environment and animal rights; the only ones who truly benefit are the corporations operating at every stage of production. But hey late-stage capital and private equity, amirite -_-.
