Great video. Can you share how you wired up the radio and light in more detail? Id like to make sure i get the wiring correct and not drain the battery
Sure! The easiest way is to look at the back of the key switch. One of the wires goes to the lights on the go kart. If you turn the key on that wire powers the back of the light switch. The lights will come on if you flip the light switch but only if the key switch is turned on. Hook the radio power up to that wire. (I used a ring terminal) that is for the positive wire. For ground I just connected to the frame of the cart. Hope that makes sense! If you end up hooking it up and it stays on all the time then just switch to the other terminal on the switch for the positive.
I purchased it from gokartsusa. At the time they had the best price (definitely shop around because the prices varied by hundreds online) to date I have had no issues with the go kart and the kids are riding it 3-5 times a week. Definitely more durable than the go kart I had when I was a kid haha!
just got my XRX+ a few days ago. Mine didn't come with fenders or a canopy. Mine came with a cage for the exhaust but only one bolt worked and had to add 1/2" of washers to make the 2nd bolt work then the 3rd bolt hole didn't align with squat. Plus the third day the chinese battery they supplied was shot. I don't know why but there was motor oil everywhere in my cart box but the oil filler cap was loose.
Sorry to hear about that. I did have to charge the battery after about a week and a half but I haven’t had issues with that since. The only other issue I had was the gearbox was leaking oil on long rides. Come to find out they forgot to put an o ring in and was covered under warranty. Other than that it’s been bulletproof. I will say it’d be a good idea to go around every once and a while and check all the hardware for tightness.
Honestly it’s more powerful than I expected. With me (170lbs) and one of my girls (70lbs) this thing can almost go full speed up the hills in our yard. When it’s just the 2 girls it goes full throttle no problem. It has the cvt and it’s way better than the centrifugal clutches that I grew up with.
I looked and it doesn’t look like it would without modification. The 300 has bolts/studs, where the mid only has the nut off of the bearing in the center.
About the only thing you could do to increase the ride height is bigger wheels, or tires. I haven’t done this but don’t see any reason why you couldn’t.
My oldest is 13 and it fits her perfect. She's right at 5' tall. My youngest is 8 and 4'4". She's just able to comfortably reach the pedals with the seat adjusted all the way forward. I'm 5'10" and can drive / ride with them just a bit cramped but it is do able. Hope this helps!

@@reallifetested2605..where did you order from..I want a trailmaster cheetah 300..most sites I go to have bad reviews.
I'm not a mechanical guy I'm a welder I would like your opinion on the engine is it powered enough for fun or just putting around

Will 300 trailmaster rims an tires fit on a mid xrx ?

Good info.
Thank you!
What’s a top speed
I think it’s somewhere around 25-30 mph
@@reallifetested2605pretty quick!
14 mph
What kind of pipe is that on the exhaust?
I explain that part between 9:40 and 12:00 I would try and type it out but it’s to much to type haha
I have a chipper/shredder that I no longer need after a multi-year yard clearing.
Briggs & Stratton motor 12.5 ft/lbs of torque, but noisy as heck.
Has anyone put larger tires? Or have ideas to increase ride height?

is your go-kart named the hulk or devastator?
Haha devastator .
Is this suitable for a 12 year old?
