    You saved my butt, on not ordering the wrong size. I originally ordered the mini and I called right back to upgrade to mid after seeing the comparison. I would have been so disappointed and so would he.

    Gosh, thank you for this video! I have been searching for the right size go kart for my 8, 5, and 2yr old that we can get enjoyment out of for many years to come. You just answered all my concerns in under 10mins! I'll surely be ordering upgraded components from you guys whe we pick up our kart! Thanks

    This is a much-needed video and glad you put it up. I wish I would’ve found you guys before I bought my last go cart. We ended up after much Internet research, ordering a midsize go kart from another company. I found the entire process difficult, and we had problems with our go cart once it arrived. Also found from a couple different companies when you call and try to ask questions they both acted like I was dumb and inconveniencing them. if you guys make buying a go cart as easy as it looks based on your video then you guys are definitely doing something that’s needed! Good job!

    Awesome video. What is the difference between the XRX and XRS? Thanks !

    • @GoKartMastersAcademy
      @GoKartMastersAcademy  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@SilverBulletNation on the mini and mid sizes, the XRS has no battery or electric start or lights. It’s a very basic kart, bench seats, smaller suspension, etc. the XRX is like the premium electric start model with bucket seats, headlights, horn, etc. then you can also get a reverse model which is an XRX-R.
      In the full size karts it’s a little different. The 200 XRS is the base model but still has electric start, reverse and lights. It has steel rims and a basic steering wheel. The 200 XRX has a sport steering wheel, LED light bar, aluminum rims.
      The 300 XRS is essentially the same as the 200 but with a larger engine. And then the 300 XRX is a whole different kart with independent rear suspension.

    Hi I was wondering in your video with lily on the mini is the seat and pedals all the way back? I have read that the pedal to back seat distance is 27 thru 34 inches . Is that correct? I'm looking to by a kart my kids can both drive. my 6yr old who is 45 inches and 12yr old who is 59 inches. Any recommendations on karts they could both drive?

    • @GoKartMastersAcademy
      @GoKartMastersAcademy  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I highly doubt your 12 year old would fit in a mini. Our 12 year old is only a couple inches taller and if she sits in the mini, her knees and shins hit the frame and it makes it difficult to move her feet on the pedals.
      The mid size is going to be a great fit for your 12 year old and is something most adults can drive when necessary. The 6 year may have a harder time reaching in the mid but with a bit of ingenuity you can make it work. You will have many years of growing room for both of them. I’ve seen customers purchase pedal extenders, attach wood blocks to the pedals, weld a new frame under the seats to make it slide further forward, and even put cushions behind their back to give them a little boost.

    What would be the tallest kid size to go into the mid size without bending the knees too much?

    • @GoKartMastersAcademy
      @GoKartMastersAcademy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Go Kart Master Kim is 5’4” and she drives comfortably with the sets all the way back and knees just slightly bent. Any taller than that, and the knees would probably start to hit the steering wheel or roll cage.

  • @faithandlifeunscripted
    @faithandlifeunscripted ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So on the mid sized, would you say that the minimum height to reach the pedals well would be 50" or any shorter at all?

    • @GoKartMastersAcademy
      @GoKartMastersAcademy  ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on what you’re comfortable with. Someone a bit shorter could sit on the front edge of the seat and be able to reach the pedals. They just wouldn’t be firmly seated against the back of the bucket seat. Also consider the skills of the ride. A kid much smaller than shown in the video may not quite be ready to handle this size kart, but then again some kids are tiny but highly skilled!

    Can you push the seat further front on the 200 xrx??

    • @GoKartMastersAcademy
      @GoKartMastersAcademy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just about the shortest person that can easily drive the 200 xrx is about 5’0”. Our 12 year old can just barely reach to drive it. About 5’2” is a good height to be comfortable driving and not have to stretch out to reach. We have seen customers fabricate custom seat frame to make the seat go closer than that!

      On a Stock kart your looking at mid twenties with a Full grown adult driving. They’ll hit 30 mph under certain circumstances. With performance modifications you can increase that a little.

    I'm looking towards the 200, with that being said,I have a couple of questions..
    First,I ain't no Rich man to buy me a Polaris or Honda side by side...
    How capable of a machine are the 200 adult karts ? Would you be comfortable taking them to someplace like the Hatfield and McCoy trails, going up steeper hills,over rough terrain ECT. ? And of course straight outta the box without any real modification other than fooling with the governor...
    Also... When you purchase these, do they come with a certificate of origin that I can take to the DMV so that I can get it titled and be able to get my off-road permits for it. (Ohio) I've had to have a Coleman mini bike titled if I wanted to take it on to public lands..

    • @GoKartMastersAcademy
      @GoKartMastersAcademy  ปีที่แล้ว

      They are pretty capable out of the box. If your doing a lot of hills I would recommend buying a lighter weight kit for the primary clutch (search gy6 weight kit on TH-cam). Supper east to install and it gives you a lot more low end. It will take your top end speed down about 5 mph but definitely worth doing for a lot of hills. It does come with a certificate of origin as well.
