- Non-accompanying spouse applications under express entry can fetch you higher CRS points, if spouse doesnt have strong scores for language and education. Such applicants can then sponsor their spouse under the spousal PR category.

If IRCC determine that the spouse being sponsored was made “non-accompanying” wilfully to bypass being examined as a member of Economic class, the sponsor and applicant can both be charged with misrepresentation.
Are you accompanying a family member that has status in Canada, or has recently been approved to come to Canada?
My spouse is an EU citizen who’s doesn’t need to apply but rather eTA which takes some few minutes to get it done!

yes you can travel back. Each case is different so cant give a blanket statement about when is good to return.

there is new policy announced fee days ago which will allow people with open work permit to obtain SOWP.

the new policy that is announced under that yes. Accompanying status is for EE it isnt for WP/OWP

I and my husband are already in canada , we here as students , both have open work permit, but I am working and he is still looking for a job, We got married here in canada and will be applying for PR soon. i was told i ahould be abpplying for non accompanying spouse but what reason should I give, that i am the primary applicant and he will be the secondary as my points are more and his was not ? It will be a normal spousal sponsorship application. So the same set of docs as for anyone in Canada applying for their spouse to become PR.

After submitting the express entry profile If I get married and then update my profile and if my wife is unaccompanying it will not affect my scores right ?

I am doing the immigration but we chose I do alone because my spouse is HIV + . Now my question is if I declare him as non-accompanying spouse so I can sponsor him once I get into Canada, will that affect my visa granting because I have an HIV + non-accompanying spouse ?
I will add I chose to do immigrayon alone Taking into consideration he is HIV+ he is going to be an excessive demand on public health , but which is not applied to family class sponsorship.

Can be kept as non-accompanying spouse, and then applying for spousal sponsorship once you get PR.
