I read that a spouse can get open work permit till their sponsor visa process is going on. Please throw light on this or it would be very helpful if you can make a video for the same. The procedure is similar in that you would have to provide a reason for your spouse not accompanying. There is an additional document to submit when you receive the Invitation to Apply along with all the other information. This document is signed by your spouse before a notary public indicating that your spouse consents to your application for PR for the children.

Please advise if my approach is correct, or it needs some correction - Once I get PR and land in Canada, after a couple of months I will call my wife on visitor's visa and then apply for Inland PR for her along with an open work permit. By the time her PR is processed atleast, she will be able to stay along with me. I understand that the visitor's visa is valid for only 6 months, but we can extend the visa or apply for the fresh one. Let me know if the above plan is feasible. Your suggestions are always welcome.

i even applied for a BSc and i graduated in 2014 from an initial BSc. i just got my visa to Canada to start school in September so i dont think an MSc would be a problem if its five years gap.

For family you have to show proof of funds for everyone

You have to declare your updated relationship status. Your points won’t change if your spouse is not accompanying you.
