Awesome wrap, spot on colour combo...except the Duck tail spoiler in carbon would been better in gloss black to match rest of trim bits and roof colour just looks bit odd with only this one part in carbon 🤔 but top job overall 👌👌
At first wasn’t sure about the colour but when it was finished and the wheels added it works. Black was the right choice for the wheels. White would have killed the look. 👍
The ls588's are actually alright tyres tbf look at the ratings on them it's the 388's that are awful, used to run the 588's on a 340bhp leon cupra and it was sound , I run ps4's on a mk2 Octavia vrs tdi and all they do is light up
@@leet7031 in a round about way are you trying to say Landsail 588’s are better than PS4’s? Any serious tyre review online says otherwise. They are mediocre at best. Looks like they live up to the usual budget tyre characteristics. They don’t excel at anything, vague handling performance, terrible wet braking and aquaplaning resistance.
@@Mac_F87 aha not necessarily, just that in comparison to tyres that are 3/4 times the price they ain't actually that bad at all , if you've got a daily commuter car then give the 588's a try youd honestly be surprised at how quiet and well they perform for the price range. FWIW I'm currently running toyo proxys on my mk7 R which are a long established decent tyre at half the price of a ps4 and sticks like sh*t to a blanket
@@leet7031 my daily is an M2 so I don’t think it would be wise to try them. Reading the latest Auto Bild tyre test from last year doesn’t sell them to me even if I contemplated it. Their only redeeming quality in that test was their low rolling resistance. Usually a tyre will do good in the dry at the sacrifice of some wet grip or visa versa, they got slated for wet grip and wet and dry braking. Very strange user feedback as well, nearly an even split between pretty good reviews and terrible reviews. Slight lean towards bad though. When I bought My EP3 Type R in 2010 it came with Landsails on the rear, hands down the worst tyres I’ve even driven a car on. Quite a few times they would just suddenly let go in the wet at roundabouts or on corners, most of the time not even going fast. Probably the biggest factor on me never fitting anything with the name again. Toyo’s have been a favourite for a long time. I had them on my 106 gti back in 2003. Their main issues back then was they were soft and gripped but didn’t last as long as the premium brands. Not as big an issue on smaller less power cars like my 106 was. Although mid range like Toyo might be closer these days I prefer to pay the extra and have that bit more wet and dry performance along with wear rate. Bought Goodyear F1 Supersports for my RS3 not long after they came out. Currently away to buy Conti SportContact 7’s since the MPSS on my M2 are not far off needing changed. Would I feel the difference on the road compared to a decent mid range tyre? Who knows but I prefer to have the little bit extra wet/dry performance if needed.
You may know this now since filming the episode, but plastic bumper dents can be removed with heat from a heat gun. The bumper plastic has a memory & it will reform quite well. You may have had to use some filler anyway, but by heating the bumper first to get it to relax back into its original shape as much as possible, it will lessen the dent, & also prevent the possibility of future heat distortion, which would leave the filler showing back through the wrap. Love the channel in general, & your enthusiasm & ability to teach yourself so many skills is super inspiring.

Absolutely awesome colour that purple is spot on. The wheels got a good design that could look great in any colour. For me they would be gold but that's because I loved using Subaru's in Gran Turismo 3 and 4.

Wheels would of looked better gold or bronze as the only issue with black wheels you loose the size of the wheel with the tyre being black also, wrap colour is spot on an would leave it debadged! Awesome build!👍👍👍

I also have to thank you, after watching all your videos I decided I needed to upgrade my car and I went out and got myself an Audi S5, it's the 2007 model with the 4.2 litre V8. I know with the way fuel prices have gone lately it maybe wasn't my most clever purchase but the smile it puts on my face every time I start it up (sports exhaust is f*cking loud on cold starts), makes it worth it. You're a legend, keep up the good work and I look forward to your next videos.
Wrap colour and finish is ok point. The boot needs the gloss black Audi rings and a black S3 badge. Front splitter will complete the look. Another great Job MA 👌🏽😎
Looks better than I expected as said it really brings out the angular lines of the car. Definitely needs the rear Audi badge. Also door shuts wrapping, new or cleaned exhaust tips and some decent tyres 🙈 wouldn't go a miss.

Love the wrap I’m a sucker for purple. My brother painted is motorcycle purple. I dream for a purple Audi. Literally making my dream car here. I’m jealous. Mat literally is the same as me. Loves cars fixes everything at home learnt from his father a mechanic. My dad taught me everything I know and taught me always do fix everything at home. Even got my own hoist setup. He passed away 😢 but I’m glad I can inherit his shed and car hoist and live out my dream of cars in my own backyard ❤ these videos literally make me smile.
Before this vid dropped I was watching some of your bmx footage. You can make a flair tailwhip look as easy as you make wrapping a car. I can do neither. What a champ

Mat, I love your videos. You really have a gift for wrapping cars and you did a great job on this one (the color looks outstanding!). But in all sincerity I think you'd do Liam a bigger favor by giving him a month of driving school instruction and a Mercedes 240D Automatic. We hope he is able to stay safe with his awesome new ride and that any mishap is a single car wreck.

Yep! 100% agree. I think it's also just a little too big for the S3. An M4 style ducktail would have looked much better, especially in Gloss Black.

I run PS4 on my s3, with the constant black circle deals they are £87 per tyre, that works out at about £15 per tyre more than budgets 🤷🏻♂️
