I bought this cheap BMW M140i from auction and bought a BMW M2 front end for it as it was missing alot of parts. The front end bolted on no problem but i couldn't help but think it made the rear of the car look strange being that the BMW M2 is wider at the rear. But in the last video i began to wrap the whole car Laguna Blue and it started to look "more normal" What do you guys think?

Love the color combination. Rims look “smashing”, as you say, I would not do black, looks great as is. And the spoilers are awesome.

You should buy black stickers to go over the blue parts of the bmw logos around the car. Its a very small change but makes a huge difference in colour matching everything. Loving the build so far!

New-ish to the channel and working my way through the back-catalogue, just watched this episode as part of the whole project play list in one go. I'm still trying to get my head around the 140i/M2 mash-up but have to say that it looks absolutely mint! Fab job by Mat, Hana & Kevin! So impressed, I ordered some Silishine to improve my engine bay! 😀
10/10 on the colour and the splitter looks superb ! Now it needs a nice tune !
Love this car! Was going to say wrap the bars same colour as the car but in white they look really good because from further back they match the wheels and look amazing!

first of all congratulations for your patient! On the other hand, I had in the past a laguna blue e46 m3 and i am not so sure if your laguna blue is exactly the same...I think your is more light

Matt, I know the build is long finished and everything, but I'm watching your playlists backwards so I've only just seen this. OK, the Laguna blue is admittedly a beautiful colour, but... in my humble opinion... it's not for a hatch back. It's very bright and happy but looks too exotic for the 140i. The seat colour may look a little corny but actually it fits the car. I would have matched the wrap colour with that or some shade of red. But I know everyone's tastes are different so respect to you, mate.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this channel. Me and 2 friends were wrapping my friend's 1 series as well, and we watched your videos along as we went. He also has a front M2 style bumper (not original), and man oh man is that a pain in the ass to wrap. But the M140i now looks stunning! I like the silver wheels, but with all the other blacked out/carbon elements, it would look better with black/graphite ones imo. Also, carbon roof and mirror caps ASAP, so they match with the splitters!

The colour and wheels are just amazing. I realy love the look. I do like the colour with the red interior as well. But maybe change it for full alcantara seats.

Wow, that looks incredible! This has gotta go to some car shows, definitely the most unique looking 'M140i' I've seen! The wrap looks awesome with the wheels, I think making them black too would just be toooo much black. It definitely has that huge flared front end S3 8L vibe now, crazy road presence I bet!
It's come together very nicely Matt, almost looks factory. The blue is similar to BMW'S Miisano Blue which they use on the X1 M sports.
Mat, You’ve encouraged me to do sooo much on my e88, I tend to do almost everything by myself, the latest upgrade was 3d printed headlights and we wrapped it in bronze/copper supermatte with gold rims, it has turned out amazing! If I could just show it to You somehow. The M140i turned out amazing! I can imagine the new G series M seats inside. 🤭

Matt that looks mental. Im not really a beemer fan, but that car in that colour looks really good, and i agree, defo dont do the black wheel route, would look a bit chavvie mate. I've only been watching you for a few months, but im very impressed with the mods you do, hope your channel keeps going from strength to strength mate.
Looking really good striking colour would be tempted to black tint rear lamps possible put yellow/amber wrap on front lamps. Wheels look good as they are!

Firstly, great video, your work is excellent, can't fault that. Now I understand that not everyone will agree with what I say, for me I don't get the whole M2 front and rear bumper thing, I have a 2018 M140i and even as standard the car is sick, fully get the exhaust mods, and other things, example the MoTech edition cars are stunning. for me,,, if you want an M2 go buy one, why make a car into something it's not, for us 140 owner's I'm sure we all agree there a fantastic car, why spoil it. Again, can't fault your work Mat, great effort
