1978 El Camino air conditioning clutch slipping

The air conditioner compressor clutch on our 1978 El Camino's Frigidaire A6 compressor has been acting up for a while now. We have melted a clutch and burned through some belts, and the compressor nose is getting too hot. Come along as we diagnose and fix the root cause of the issue.

Nice video. Love that your using the el camino. I found your website with all the el camino info! Thanks for that. My dad has a 79 super sport 305 4speed 308. I have a 84 super sport that has a gen 2 lt1 now. Was factory bucket seat tach with clock gauge package, gu4 g80, g92, f41. Had all the good stuff for its time. We also have a 86 gmc Caballero original 305. We did a t5 5speed swap and 3.73 posi. Made it really fun. Keep up the good work. 👍
