I grabbed a skein of yarn that was next to me and began this hat. Must say it’s the easiest slouch hat made so far and it’s working up beautifully. Making hats for the homeless will be a breeze. Great teacher. My fav part is the snug fit.
I love it 🥰 looks very easy and can't wait to try it. I'm in the beginning stages of relearning how to crochet. I will get the size eight today to make it. Oh I hit the subscribe and notification bell 🔔 too.
This is gorgeous. I'm trying to get rid of my yarn stash and do something for my community, so I'm looking for styles I can make to donate. Just because someone is on hard times doesn't mean they can't have something warm and stylish this winter. 🫶
@@evilempryss Yes I agree. I am in a Crochet social club and we donate to causes all the time right now. We’re making scars for the women shelters in our area. God bless you ♥️😊

I love these types of hats so natural and super cute I'm going to try it. Thanks so much and lining it with satin I think would be a nice idea. What size yarn did you use? I usually use size 4 yarn. Should I double that or double my size 3 yarns? Can you show us how to do that part please with adding the satin
@@belleveHER Thank you for your comment. That hat works up well with a 4 weighted yarn I only doubled mine because it was a 3 weight, I didn’t have a 4 weight in the color my daughter wanted. Yes. I will work on a video for the lining of that hat. 😊♥️
Thank you for the comment. You can if it’s possible . A normal circumference head runs from 21 to 22 inches.if that helps as well. Just in case you’re unable to measure. I pray this helps 🥰🥰
Thanks for your quick response. I got a little excited to make this beautiful slouchy hat that I continued without turning my work. But I have 5 more rows to go and will turn them until the end. Hi, do you continue turning your work for every row? or only the first row?
@@OurFamilyFirst-ug7xj Thank you for the question. Yes you do, turn your work after every row. I apologize for not mentioning that in the video😊♥️

Can you use 4 weight yarns?
@@deborahscott3923 yes you can use a 4 weight yarn. I just did not have a 4 weight in that color. You don’t have to double the 4 weight. 😊♥️
When you say 6 and 8 size hooks, is that the millimeter? 6mm and 8 mm?
I found it on the video. I zoomed it up and saw the J hook 6mm. Thanks for the video.
@@janetbranch1532 Thank you for the comment. I’m glad you figured it out 6mm and 8mm 😊♥️
About much yarn did you use?
One skein of yarn 355 yards should be enough🥰🥰
