I feel that the front mission 1st remake will find a decent price hike down the road... same with the indie title "Demon Throttle", it was a physical only release, no digital storefront option available... its really low priced now, and didnt generate a ton of buzz, but it's only going to get harder to find as time goes on, because im sure it's not going to get a ton of reprints...
The Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection should also increase in value over the years, as you can only get the collection as an Asia import as a retail version.
I would never pay $300 plus simply for a ESRB rating. You can get the physical version of FF: Pixel imported for MSRP and the only difference is the rating. I get why somebody would but I can’t justify that price simply for a slight difference in cover art.

World of Final Fantasy Maxima and Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! are getting rare too. That´s a nice collection Switch Final Fantasy games. Even Chocobo GP is worth $15 if you are collecting, the story mode is nice and the game got patched up.

Mario party not really good choice. You keep repeating the gamecube games but we all know gamecube sold poor which means there haven’t been sold many copies of the games too which makes them rare. While switch already sold 5x soon 6x more than the gamecube.

The reasoning for these games’ scarcity can be applied to tons of games honestly. Here are two games that are already rare, and with sound reasoning. Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Nobunaga’s Ambition, both are Asian-English releases. Romance was sold out pretty much on release day and never received a reprint. Nobunaga came out this week, and it’s sold out already on Play-Asia, and this one probably won’t receive a reprint either if ROTTK is any indication. Get those while you can, if you can.
