Not a big deal if people don't care about FFX-2 but if someone wants both on the cart, the Japanese version, with the plain white cover, is the best choice. Both versions are included on the cart. Over the last 7 years I have built a considerable library of 3DS and Switch games. I think I'm set for a long while. I have no plans so far to get another console. I think it's wise to get the games you want before they become rare and expensive.
If you do get around to FFX I'd love to see a follow up video eventually sharing your thought's as its personally my favourite game and FF is very special to me too 🥲 I started with VII Original then went to X and never thought it could hit me the way it did but it's one that sticks with you and growing up with a very difficult relationship with my father it only engrossed and made me relate more to the experience but there's so much there from great thoughtful combat, a beautiful world more spiritual than other FFs, music, characters, story its all there and always lovely when you talk to other fans 🌟
Heres a tip about 3ds xl playing ds games.. when you start the game from the main menu hold the start button and it will run the game in its original size/aspect ratio
Final Fantasy X-2 is the sequel which focuses on the three female characters, using a job system that gives different costumes. Whether it was an accident or not, nice picks!
8:50 As for witcher 3, Switch is not the best console to play the game on it but it doesn't look too bad and you don't need to play any other game to play witcher 3 everything is explained in this game have fun
highly recommend ffx2 one of the most customizable games you can play. And continues the story from FFX so worth a play. FFX is one of my favorite games of all time, completed it many times and 100% a few times.
Persona 5 is one of the greatest JRPGs that I've ever played. It's super charming and interesting with it's way of addressing certain things in the world; plus the gameplay and overall game experience is absolutely amazing. You can play it without playing the other parts because it's similar to the final fantasy series where almost every part is one specific story separate from the other parts. If you liked this game I would highly recommend playing the new remake of Persona 3 - it's also done great and is overall my favorite one of the hole Persona series :)
Nice video! I totally get this sense of "if I don't get this game now, in the future I won't find it". Especially here in Brazil, some games really disappear. I'm always checking the used games being sold to see if I'm not letting anything important pass. Btw, about The Witcher 3, absolutely awesome game. I've played only the 3rd game, must have like 80 hours on Switch, and it has been my reference of "greatest game" since then (together with Elden Ring I think). However, it's the kind of game that you have to give a chance at the beginning because the way combat and levelling works is different from other RPGs, and especially in the beginning you get this feeling that you're doing everything wrong. Just keep on playing and you'll overcome this feeling. At least this is how it was for me, and some of my friends didn't clicked with the game because of this.
Thank you for the video! I recently bought Persona 5 physical on Switch since I want to get into the game at some point. Not sure when since I just started Tears of the Kingdom. You will not be disappointed with The Witcher 3 on Switch. I finished it at the end of last year. You should play The Witcher 3 in handheld with headphones since the music and sound effects are phenomenal. It is also has cross-platform saves now so you can play on PS5/XSX/PC with great graphics on a big screen and pick back up on the Switch. The Xenoblades are on my list too.
Sea of Stars is not only a really pretty game, but also has a fun combat system that is intuitive and easy to learn. If u ever played secret of mana, it really reminds me of that; enjoy🎮
I have a certain set of games that I buy over and over on every system. Pc, PlayStation, Switch. Skyrim, Paradise City, Kingdom of Amalur, Resident Evil franchise. Good video.
Witcher 3 is one of the greatest games I've ever played. I've played it multiple times and have it on Xbox, PC, and Switch. I'll admit the Switch version is lacking in terms of detail, but being able to play it in handheld mode is very convenient. The story does a good job filling in blanks from things that happened in past games. I hope you give it a try and wind up enjoying it. It has some of the greatest music you'll ever hear, too.
Late to the party but just wanted to say that the Witcher 3 expansions packs (Hearts of Stone + Blood and Wine) are also worth getting. Some may even say that they are better than the base game, which is high praise considering that the base game is brilliant.
(Writing as I watch lol) Final Fantasy X is one of my favorite games of all time, it was the very first Final Fantasy game I played and it stuck with me. X-2 is the direct sequel to X, it's a fun experience for sure and unique in that it's battle system feels alot more like a precursor to FFXIII. Holy Persona 5R is a massive game, you don't need to play the previous games to enjoy it, it's kinda like final fantasy in that way. It's a roughly 100 to 120 hour game that has great replayability value since there's a social aspect to the game similar to Stardew where you can get closer to some characters and it'll have unique cutscenes and events. Witcher 3 is also another game that you don't need to play the previous 2 to enjoy, the game has alot of flashbacks to catch you up anyways.
I played the original Final Fantasy X and X-2 when they first came out. I'd love to play them again. I just don't have time. I remember when the original FF came out in the 80s and my friend and I spent a whole weekend beating it.
Xenoblade and Persona are franchises that can be played in any order. They're pretty much like final fantasy. Persona reuses a lot of enemy designs across the games but every story is different. They are solid no regret purchases.
Id recommend playing xenoblade in order. You can play them out of order without being confused, but the power of knowing the lore from the 1 and 2 when playing 3 just elevates it to a whole other level. Its well written so you get more out of the games lore by playing the ones before it. But if you didnt its no big deal either.
You’re so pretty. Thanks for making this video. I want to show off my video games but I never get around to doing it. But yeah persona 5 is fine game to start with. There’s just some super natural stuff going on. That you have to open your mind to. I’m the same way with stardew valley. When that game was the rage on steam. That was fine but I had to have a physical copy.
P5 was the first persona game I played and it's by far my favorite game ever. The music and voice acting are so good, maybe best soundtrack to ever be in a game. The battles are tough but rewarding. Since then, I've played the rest of the persona games but P5 remains my favorite.
persona is great and they are all stand alone games so no play order for most of them the only thing I would suggest is that you play person 5/persona 5 royal before playing persona 5 strikers, other than that every game has a diffrent story and different set of characters
These are amazing game choices! 😮 Jealous you got the stardew valley physical! I’ve only seen it sold on Amazon so I’m tempted to purchase it since I have not found it used yet. Enjoy the games! ✨
PERSONAAAAAA 🗣🗣🗣 I've never played any Persona game and also got Persona 5 Royal recommended a lot, I bought it at full price cause here in Venezuela discounts are not a thing lol but I do not regret spending $60 on it, best game I've played in this 2024 so far and probably one of my favorite games ever now.
You picked up some good stuff. For Xenoblade you defintely want them in order and yes they connect. Definitive edition is a remake/remaster of the original wii game. Persona you can start with any really they aren't connected like that. Witcher 3 a good pick up I don't think you can get the earlier ones either. Final Fantasy - X is good X2 is the spinoff. 7 and 8 might be considered a bit old.
Great video 👍 I don't remember if you have spoken about this before but have you considered doing game play/let's play videos with some of these games? Even just casual play throughs would be fun to watch. Looking forward to more content 😊
I think that for Persona/Shin Megami Tensei series you should start with SMT. It's darker and more hard-core, so when you go to Persona 5, it will feel like a breath of fresh air. SMT 3 or 4 or Apocalypse are the beat places to start
Leave it to you to bring a really cozy haul - cozy queen. You can play Persona 5 Royal before other persona games. Persona games each have their own self-contained story and mostly the gameplay is refined with each game but Persona 5 is my recommendation for anyone as their first megaten game. I saw someone comment this before but you definitely have to cosplay Jill Valentine lol! Love your videos, looking forward to more!
I had no idea the Persona series existed until I saw Happy Console Gamer talk about 5. After that I repeatedly saw it on best RPGs of all time list and looked into it. The trailer didn't do much for me, but I knew there must be something there. I picked up 5, and 150 hours later it became one of my favorite games. You don't need to play the other ones first, but after playing 5 you will want to.
Lol it's funny how you lucked into one of the most popular games on the Switch, aka Persona 5 Royal. Sea of Stars is also an amazing choice! I'm kind of jealous cus I want to try that game lol. Wish I had a copy.
Whenever you track down a Vita, make sure you snag Persona 4: Golden. Might even be worth finding a physical copy early, before it enters insane resale/collector market pricing. Another great upload. Always so chilled.
The Persona games mix light dating sim mechanics with hardcore turn-based combat. Final Fantasy usually goes hands off with this, but in Persona if you like a character odds are you can build a romantic relationship/bond with them. The best part about the Persona series is that you can start them in any order as they do not share the same story or plot. They all borrow from each other in terms of monster design and very slight lore connections, but nothing in which you will get lost or confused because you didn't play a prior title. P5 is a perfect starting point as it has the most quality of life features already baked in. I wish I could experience it for the first time again, lucky you!
I've been buying some games lately. Cassette Beasts Deluxe Edition is my latest I got arrived after pre-ordering it from Super Rare Games. I almost have all of the mainline FF titles that are available for the Switch including Pixel Remastered and FFX/X-2, both that are imports. I just needed Twin Pack that contain VII and VIII, and IX.
I recently played Persona 5 Royal for th first time and got really, really hooked to the level I started a 2nd playthrough right after finishing the 1st As others have said, it is lightly connected to 3 and 4 mostly but not to the level of having to play them to understand, P5R does have follow ups in Persona 5 Strikers (which is like Hyrule/Fire Emblem Warriors) and Persona 5 Tactica (which is similar to Final Fantasy Tactics) Xenoblade 1 on Switch mostly adds better graphics, a slightly redone soundtrack and a extra episode
2:20 - I did the same exact thing. Sucks that I had to double dip on several games but majority of physical games I got at the very least on a 50% sale. It's about 10 games that I have both digitally & physical while about 6 more that I own just physical.
You are gonna love the Final Fantasy X, played it 20 years ago and it's safe to say that it's still one of my favourites if not my favourite game. The X-2 is a sequel, kind off, it has a different combat system, it's not turn based which stresses me more LUL Good haul and happy hunting for the future!
Sadly I haven't had much time to play through it yet but I finally grabbed a copy of Stardew Valley! I heard about it for years and wanted to wait for the physical to release so I'm glad I got it!
The Witcher 3 is on of my favorites games ever. Switch version is ok but pushes the system hard. I say play on easy just for the story unless you like a challenge.
fair play you got a bunch of great games there, I tend too over spend on games though I do try hard not to do that most recent game I brought was RoboCop
Lots of great pickups. I need to order the Boy and the heron because I've never seen it in stores but, DVDs and Blu-rays are definitely getting harder to find.
I saw a new physical copy of Stardew Valley at Gamestop recently. I need to snag it up even though I already own the digital version. Nice that it comes with a booklet too.
Dsi xl is really underrated. I've heard a lot of people dismiss it as just a larger dsi but it's so much more. I found a decent one at goodwill but I've also always wanted a pristine condition dsi xl as well
There are two Cloud amiibos and a Sephiroth if you are interested in them! I'd take a look at a list of amiibos just to see what's out there now. There is even one for Joker from persona 5, animal crossing ones, etc. :)
Nice with Final Fantasy X, its one of my favorites in the series. It was the 1st FF on ps2 so production values were thru the roof and it shows. The cinemas, characters, story, bossfights, the unique(for its time) level up system... everything is done perfect imo. But you bought the wrong version! The usa version only has X on the cartridge with X2 being a digital download. The Japanese version has both games on one cartridge and supports english. Its an extra 20 or 30 bucks but I think its worth it, X2 was pretty good as well. You also have to think down the road, once eshop closes you wont be able to dl X2 anymore, everyone is going to want the japan release at that point the usa version will be worthless
Definitive edition is basically A Remaster/almost Remake lol, much smoother and nicer graphics that the original Wii version. Added a few bits and bobs too as they do. Xenoblade is absolutely incredible, the first is still my favourite. You are in for a treat!
You can play the Persona games in any order. They are standalone stories. Though Persona 4 and Persona 3 Reload are both amazing, so I recommend playing them too. Persona is one of my favorite series of games ever. Final Fantasy X is also very much worth your time. Beautiful story. "X-2" is known as "Final Fantasy Ten Two". It's a direct sequel that's basically just DLC. It's not as good as the main story.
Considering what you said about you not really knowing about Amiibo, allow me to give you a rundown! I’m something of an Amiibo Hunter myself! Amiibo started with Smash 4 in 2014, in the first few years of their release, they came out with waves of different characters and eventually every smash 4 character had an Amiibo (sometimes 2 if they were a character that could be male of female like Robin) and all their appearances were based off of how they looked in Smash 4. When Smash ultimate came out, they made Amiibo for every returning and every new fighter, also in waves, but much smaller ones, sometimes it would be an individual character launch like Sephiroth & Sora. They’ve reprinted the older ones over the years so that in case people missed out on them during the peak of their popularity (cuz it used to be impossible to get a lot of them) you can now easily buy them and they should be in stock. They’ve made Amiibo for many games over the years and kept making new ones with switch games in series that aren’t smash, but the reason Zelda has her TP look with the one you got is cuz that’s how she looked in smash 4. The Botw Zelda came out in 2017, Totk Zelda in 2023 & the SSHD Zelda in 2021. They also did a 30th anniversary series of Zelda Amiibo that had many versions of link throughout the games and their different art styles, and they even did a Toon Link (different from his smash design) & Toon Zelda double pack!
Try the 1st party games.... SMB Wonder, Odyssey, Smash Bros, Kart.... Zelda BotW, Link's Awakening, TotK, Metroid Dread, Prime, and Fusion are great. Hell Pikmin 4 is fire too.
What really grills my cheese was when I got Super Mario RPG for my birthday, but it came with a slice in the spine. We went to Target to exchange it and every since copy left had a slice through the spine from an employee opening the box with a blade.
Final Fantasy X is really really good and you will love it. X-2 is fun, not as deep or good but it’s fun if you like the characters. Persona is great! I started with persona 4 gold! It doesn’t matter which you choose but I would say not 1 and 2 as they’re different. And not “strikers” or the fighting ones. You also want the best edition as it contains more content. So 4 golden, 5 royal etc. Final Fantasy X and Persona 5 Royal are great games for you to play 😊

You're in for quite a journey with the Xenoblade games... They are quite literally my all time favorites as far a story and charachters go... Xenoblade X on the Wii U a fantastic game as well... You have a great channel as well... You look like a young Jennifer Connelly... Keep up the great content... 😁👍
Over the last 7 years I have built a considerable library of 3DS and Switch games. I think I'm set for a long while. I have no plans so far to get another console. I think it's wise to get the games you want before they become rare and expensive.
FFX I think has the best romance in gaming, idk what tops it.
Yooo!! Thank you for sharing this! I had no idea that was an option.
@@jd_Panda no problem!
Does start work also? I've always know it as the select button to do that.
@@Randomninja47 yea i always have held start i guess they both work?
I also have the Witcher 3 complete edition for Switch. Witcher 3 on Switch kicks different but in a good way.
It's looks good, just turn off 4 settings (blur, motion blur, bloom & AA). Played >80 hours on my Switch Lite since bought it 3 months ago
Final fantasy 10 and x-2 were like my first experience in truly getting lost in an RPG as a kid. What a great experience
highly recommend ffx2 one of the most customizable games you can play. And continues the story from FFX so worth a play. FFX is one of my favorite games of all time, completed it many times and 100% a few times.
its nice to see another gamer girl. the Witcher 3 is one of the best games of all time. one of my favorites! ❤😊
Your videos are so nice to watch, and I love your sticker mirror!
Aw thank you! ☺️
@@mikyatto Hi ❤❤❤
Final fantasy 10 and 8 are my all time favorites (besides Zelda)! I'm not sure how it is on switch, but I hope you enjoy them!
really enjoyed this video, made me want to do the same and get some of my favs. def want the new marvel vs capcom collection coming out later
Good idea to start buying on sale Switch games now before the end of the console.
Cheers great video cool pickups!
Thank you! I forgot about sea of stars. Just ordered it.
Play what you are most excited about. All of them are fun games. I'm currently playing Sea of Stars and I have been enjoying it.
I am playing FFX/X-2 right now and have the Asian version/white cover as both games are on cart 👍🏽 the other versions have X-2 as code only.
Thank you for that great list ❤
I only hope they do a 3rd with the switch 2 and make it backwards compatible, and hopefully runs better on the updated hardware
If I may recommend a game; may I suggest Y’s VIII Lacrimosa of Dana for the Switch. I feel it may be around your ballpark.
Great haul! The only switch games I’m looking forward to as of now are Zelda echoes of wisdom, the plucky squire, and Metroid prime 4
Dude you are actually really cool. I love Ghibli so much
Took me a long time, but I have both the DSi XL and DS Lite in Metallic Rose. They are in wonderful condition. I wish you luck in your journey!!
The best pack-in I ever got was in Lunar: Silver Star Story on PSOne. It came with a hard cover manual and a cloth map of the world.
All the games look very nice, I really liked your collection. I liked the Final Fantasy X-X2 box design the most🌠🌌
P5 was the first persona game I played and it's by far my favorite game ever.
I like watching things that i can’t afford, but this girl is rare❤
Yay you got sea of stars! I asked before because I thought it would be something you vibe with. Glad I was on the right track
Def recommend if you buy the game new unopened I leave mine on the shelf unopened that way I know I haven’t played it yet. 😁
At this point, every Vita owner has P4G, so that much of a "collectors" item.
@@AeyGee yup. Already happened in UK. Few years ago was £60 everywhere now it's like £20-25. I think the Steam release didn't help.
i got it physically for the nintendo switch, i paid 35$ i think
Really stoked i came across your channel! You’ve already become one of my top people to watch on TH-cam 👍🏽
I hope you do a PS4/5 collection video soon! I’ve been collecting a bit for the console as well as a side hobby.
I recently played Persona 5 Royal for th first time and got really, really hooked to the level I started a 2nd playthrough right after finishing the 1st
As others have said, it is lightly connected to 3 and 4 mostly but not to the level of having to play them to understand, P5R does have follow ups in Persona 5 Strikers (which is like Hyrule/Fire Emblem Warriors) and Persona 5 Tactica (which is similar to Final Fantasy Tactics)
Xenoblade 1 on Switch mostly adds better graphics, a slightly redone soundtrack and a extra episode
2:20 - I did the same exact thing. Sucks that I had to double dip on several games but majority of physical games I got at the very least on a 50% sale. It's about 10 games that I have both digitally & physical while about 6 more that I own just physical.
Xenoblade is one of my favorites! You'll love the story and characters :D
You are gonna love the Final Fantasy X, played it 20 years ago and it's safe to say that it's still one of my favourites if not my favourite game.
The X-2 is a sequel, kind off, it has a different combat system, it's not turn based which stresses me more LUL
Good haul and happy hunting for the future!
I got The Boy and The Heron steel book! That movie is AMAZING. You'll love it.
Im playing sea of stars now and enjoying it. Im also collecting the FF games on switch, and been thinking about the FF Pixel remaster game.
fair play you got a bunch of great games there, I tend too over spend on games though I do try hard not to do that most recent game I brought was RoboCop
Great pickups! Love the double pack of 7-8
Nice with Final Fantasy X, its one of my favorites in the series.
Witcher 3 definitely save Blood and wine dlc till last. It's set after the main game and gives you a nice ending whichever you get
Awesome haul that you purchased!! I’m a new subscriber! Congrats on your 10K (11k now) 🥹🥹🥹☺️☺️☺️
Final Fantasy X is really really good and you will love it.
