Hello George, just received my Al Bino rubber/nylon belt and it is getting put n my 13" South bend from 1942 today, his information shows putting the leading edge slice facing down and leading heading forward, I questioned this, and think the way you glued yours is better as there is not a protusion bump on the leading edge....thanksf or a great little video, have watched multiple time.....all the best from Orlando, Florida, Paul
Paul, thanks for your comment. I don’t recall what the directions said about the belt placement. I thought I properly followed them. The belt as installed, has worked great with no separation and no issues.
Very helpful! Love the clamping block
Glad it was helpful!
Love it. Belt looks great!
thanks

Can you tell me what kind of glue that is? Thank you
I don’t really know. Two small capsules of glue came with the belt. One for the rubber and one for the vinal core.
I have left several messages and even emailed Al Bino and he does not reply. I hate to go to leather .love all your videos
I never tried to contact them, just ordered off their site after careful measurements. Thanks for the nice comment
