It is my opinion that her whole department should have paid for these crimes! How on earth were red-flags not visible absolutely EVERYWHERE right from the start? Thoughts to all those poor souls.
She didn't stand a chance. I don't believe any of it. It has made me doubt her other convictions now. The press in the UK have a lot to answer for. I can't understand how the doctor has had the audacity to get in the stand when he has purported himself as some kind of celebrity. I wouldn't trust him to walk my dog.
@@MarcLudford There is NO evidence that Lucy Letby murdered/harmed any babies. They died/collapsed from natural causes, no doubt, aggravated by being born into a chaotic, shambolic open sewer with incompetent consultants and under trained staff.
So her reaction to when she was reacted make her as guilty as sin? Like most fair minded people I prefer to look at the evidence of which there is none. The prosecution medical evidence has fallen apart and the bogus spreadsheet has been ridiculed by statistical experts.
When Brearey and Jayaram went to the managers to complain about Lucy Letby they were asked for evidence of wrong doing and they said they had none. So what were the managers supposed to do? Brearey and Jayaram were legally obliged to go to the police if they suspected any nurse (or anyone else) of harming a baby. But they did nothing, they didn't even report their concerns to the Child Death Overview Panel or the Coroner.
The doctor walks in on Letby, looks at the monitor and can see the babies oxygen levels are falling the breathing tube had been dislodged, the monitor alarm had been turned off. Letby's explanations - "I was waiting to see if the baby recovered on her own". Basically she was waiting for the situation to get much worse before she would intervene and help the suffering baby or sound the alarm for help.
There was an absolute mountain of circumstantial evidence against her and her alone. There was almost zero circumstantial evidence against the other staff on the unit. The only way actual evidence could have been obtained would have been by having another baby attacked. That is quite simply unthinkable. The Police had to gain a mountain of circumstantial evidence against her for the CPS to allow it to go in front of Crown Court - which they did and after 110 hours deliberation (the jury really discussed this inside and out) the jury found her guilty of murdering 7 and attempting to murder a further 6. They were undecided on the other deaths.
Judge Goss almost directed the jury to find Lucy Letby guilty. The jury certainly could not have found her guilty on the evidence presented in that court.
The child died three days later in a different hospital. Please do check facts...! I'm saying this because the guest said 'let's hope they are alive and well'!

Doctors did raise alarms about letby they wanted her removed but senior managers would not believe them
She will have done other things she hasn't been caught for.
Is it her pretty blonde features that prompt your jealousy? 🤣
@@AethelwulfOfNordHymbraLand2333 🤣🤣🤣
@@AethelwulfOfNordHymbraLand2333 She is not pretty, quite the opposite, she is very plain looking
Yes like being an excellent nurse and a whistleblower for the incompetent consultants.
Anyone following this case with a brain will be appalled at this shameful verdict. What on earth does an overweight ex-cop know about neonatal care?

She is guilty as sin just look at her reactions when arrested at her home no emotion at all that's not normal

@@ruthbashford3176 of course the evidence is paramount
Her behaviour was well known. Where are the managers who knew but did nothing? Why aren't they in the dock for corporate manslaughter?
Why is Letby being convicted on shoddy evidence and allowing the mainstream media to condemn her before having a fair trial?...

What evidence would you need?
Circumstantial evidence is evidence.

Indeed! Her case is also like Lucia de Berk, a Dutch nurse found guilty of murdering patients but later exonerated.
