Starting to look that way, when a private person, a psychic medium can offer more explanations than the Police, as well as providing the authorities with items belonging to Claudia, her white top, watch strap, backpack and cell phone battery. The Police were not the ones who found Claudia's white top at the graveyard of a church where there were three coffins standing on end. It seems likely she was murdered there, because shotgun casings were found there. Her body could then have been transported, and disposed at a building site close to where she worked at the univeristy. It seems, the Police have gone on multiple wild goose chases, in Cyprus as well as the UK. If she went to someone's house, was it the house of her previous roommate who worked at the Nag's Head as a barmaid? There was blood found in the driveway of that house. At this point, as Claudia's mother requested, an independent inquiry needs to be made of the Police investigation of this case. The other fact little mentioned, is that several others known by Claudia, also died around the same time Claudia went missing. One has to wonder, what was going on between members of friends, regular customer's at the Nag's Head. For some reason, they have kept silent for a very long time, surely one would expect, at least one of them to 'spill the beans' by now. Is it possible they were involved and connected in some kind of satanism? The barmaid who used to live with Claudia, and another barmaid from the Nag's Head made some rather questionable comments about Claudia after she'd gone missing. It seems likely that Claudia may have been very naive, considering her background, she was clearly not street smart, and may have been unaware of the impact her relationships had on others. Was the reason she decided to go to a pub in York, away from the Nag's Head, due to a new boyfriend, or because she felt in some way threatened or made to feel uncomfortable by someone at the Nag's Head? As several Nag's Head patrons worked in various building trades, it seems likely they would have been familar with local building sites, and likely worked at someo of them. One of Claudia's neighbours and older man who worked in a Biological Lab near where Claudia worked as a chef, has since moved away. It seems possible he may have been involved with what happened. Roberto, a Psychic Medium pointed in that direction, and he is often very accurate, when it comes to unsolved crimes. Someone she knew, a professional who worked in a Medical Setting.

The way they’re talking so strongly about witness protection, this sounds to me like they’re directing this at someone in particular. They know exactly who they want to talk.
It's all about the motivation. The likelihood that someone would be randomly abducted and murdered is incredibly low. Claudia was almost certainly murdered for a reason. If she was living a modest life working as a chef in the university, she clearly wasn't involved directly in crime. I think it's unlikely to be organised crime, as there's no real motivation or significant culture of organised crime in York which she appears to be on the periphery of. It's way more likely to be a very personal crime e.g. having a relationship with someone who decided it was better if she was out of the picture permanently and meticulously planned her exit. Probably a married guy who exploited her by asking for caution and secrecy, so he wouldn't get caught playing away from home, thereby coaching her into not leaving a trail. Poor Claudia - I hope this case is solved and she gets justice.
I've heard that one before and I don't believe it. The police have nothing and the only promising suspect they had, was arrested, questioned and released without charge. It's unsolvable as are many other vanished without a trace cases.
I lived in York for 6 years and this case affected the whole city (it still does) Poor Claudia. The police lost this case right from the beginning by being way too keen to protect her image to her family. They were also too keen to protect the image of the men she was or had affairs with. So much time has now passed and I doubt they will even find out what happened to her or who was responsible.
I don't think the police are being completely honest about what she was probably doing. She certainly "got around" and there is a strong rumour that she was also "selling herself", despite the police avidly denying that. The talk of someone walking up and down her street while on the phone, seemingly taking directions to her place and her being surprised to see him... certainly might seem to add up. If it was someone she already knew then why would he need directions to her place and why would she be surprised to see him? Now, as a consenting adult "selling yourself" to other consenting adults isn't a crime in itself, but it can open you up to all kinds of danger.

Realistically, how many people would be willing to give up virtually their entire lives and go into witness protection, if the case didn't involve themselves or their loved ones directly? No matter how much help and support they would receive from the police and other agencies, I would assume hardly anyone. If they were offered millions to establish themselves in their new lives, then there would probably be a few more prepared to do it but that sort of money seems to be reserved for murderers and the like who get given new identities.
But could you live with yourself, or someone, knowing that they might have been the perpetrator? No way I could if I knew, living with a man who could murder or rape?
@user-xi1br6ur1q If you were living with them, then it would be in your best interest to report them and get out of that situation, but if it didn't impact you directly would you be willing to move cities and leave everything including family behind to help a stranger? @@TK-ux5duI would. I couldn't live with myself, especially the thought that parents were desperately hoping to see justice before they died. She was at home the night before , she told her mum she was tired and that she has to be up at 5:30 am for work and they made plans for Mother’s Day. And Claudia’s mum said she heard Claudia watching her fav tv show and getting ready for bed. The police have never confirmed were she was the night before from her phone data when she spoke to her mum they are keeping that info back for some reason. The only thing they said about her phone data was that when her boss rung her on the Thursday morning at 10:30 am to see why she hadn’t turned up her phone pinged from a mast near her house then was switched off, she never left the area. Losing a loved one to street violent crime is a horrendous experience, especially when the perpetrator or perpetrators are still at large, you feel violated and impotent in many ways. On the 27th of December 2015, my then 21 year old son was murdered by knife outside a pub and the killer remains free, hasn’t been arrested yet.
Sorry to hear this. My dear son is 21-yrs old & a student in East London. He has had a few confrontations in a park & outside a nightclub. I always tell him to walk away from trouble.
Please look into the disappearance of Marsha Wray. Also in North Yorkshire in Starbeck/Knaresborough. Because she disappeared before the prevalence of CCTV and social media, in 1997 her case isn't so well known. I have am interested as 11 years before, I sold my house to Marsha and her husband.
THAT should tell you everything. WHY the obsession with THIS case, when the hundreds of other "missing presumed murdered" people AND CHILDREN NEVER even make the media..............
For you to threaten people to keep their mouths shut, it must already be known to the people that you are a violent person, have a reputation locally. So, it could well be someone from the criminal community that is doing the threatening, Although I believe a lot of the silence is down to people not wanting to be stiched up for her disappearance.
@@tonyworrall1962 it was Paddy her ex that warned Gerard Tubb the sky news reporter off asking questions around her home town of Malton the only potential genuine tough lad that was arrested was Paul Harris … and he didn’t kill her …. This reminds the of the Bakewell Tart case - in that case a body was found but it all involved married men as suspects. Infidelity is behind a lot of murder. Wish more young ladies realised how dangeous it is.
She wasn't necessarily murdered on her way to work. She last spoke to her mum circa 20.00 and was called by a work colleague to see if she wanted a lift the following morning. He also may have called upon her the evening before but he specifically avoided the route past her house the following day on his way to work. I found that odd because people change their minds about lifts. She never responded to a 9pm text from a friend and never opened the text that night or the following morning. Her hair tongs were missing and her work whites. What was odd is that she was due to meet her friend after 9pm in The Nags Head yet this friend never called her or went to her door to see where she was. The house was a few doors away. Another friend who worked behind the bar never went to check on her after her shift ended. And that I found odd. Two friends who never checked up on her that night and one was expecting to meet her. This friend said something interesting: 'I regret not giving more information to the police st the time'. That suggests that she may have known who she may have been meeting. It wasn't just her passport left but also her cards. If she left she would have taken a card in case she needed money to get a cab. Whatever occurred happened at her home.

Because the public won't speak to journalists means nothing. I wouldn't for any reason speak to them.
If Claudia was not at home when she rang her mother the night before…surely the phone would pin point exactly where Claudia was ringing from?
She was at home the night before , she told her mum she was tired and that she has to be up at 5:30 am for work and they made plans for Mother’s Day. And Claudia’s mum said she heard Claudia watching her fav tv show and getting ready for bed. The police have never confirmed were she was the night before from her phone data when she spoke to her mum they are keeping that info back for some reason. The only thing they said about her phone data was that when her boss rung her on the Thursday morning at 10:30 am to see why she hadn’t turned up her phone pinged from a mast near her house then was switched off, she never left the area. She never responded to a 9pm text from a friend and never opened the text that night or the following morning.

What was odd is that she was due to meet her friend after 9pm in The Nags Head yet this friend never called her or went to her door to see where she was. The house was a few doors away.
