@@MMillerPCs I've tried that, description and pictures are good... i think it's due to the fact I'm trying to sell a Xeon and RX 580 build for $500... but I overpaid for the parts so I'm just trying to make a little bit of profit...

you don't need to get into the Windows install. Just prep a Windows Install USB stick, boot from it, and clean install Windows. Microsoft has never asked me for an OS key when I've done this. I don't know if it's b/c Ms keeps a database of hardware or what. But, just give it a shot. I live at an apt where new college grads chuck their old college pc's by the dumpster. I've clean-installed Windows on them all the time w/o issue.
That said, if you can get access to Windows, you might be able to salvage keys for other software.. MS Office, Adobe, etc. Those could be sold. Or reused.
I built an aesthetic fish tank pc with RBG with a 3600 and GTX 1080. Listed it on FB for $600 and after two weeks it hasn’t sold. I followed all the same things you did as far as pics, listing, and benchmarks. It cost me $480 all in to build. Any advice or should I just keep waiting

@@WindzaRyan in most cases no.. you would probably have to sell on eBay to get the most profit and they take a percentage and you also have to pay for shipping. It’s hard to make money on just the parts.

Windows activation works off the motherboard and cpu. If it was activated, it will activate again if you put the same version on.
Well I thought that, but wasn’t sure. I couldn’t get into it to figure out what version they had so I had to guess.. maybe there is way I could have figured out without logging in 🤔 I would like to know that to save $20 lol
