My wife and my son are both using 3600's with 5700xt's. I bought 2 5700xt's on ebay for $115 each a while back. They both love their PC's and I feel like they'll be happy for years.
I have the same MB for my 5800 X3D, 4070 TI Super build. That exact RX 5700 XT is in my backup PC and it performs well with the Ryzen 5 5600. The AM4 platform is far from dead even in 2024. A note on GPU sag: Always prop up your GPU to take unnecessary pressure off of the PCIE Connector. ( They aren't designed to be structural ) Back when we had single slot cards this wasn't an issue but not the the multi slot cards. ( Gravity is a real thing )
@iixclesXD123 I understand what you mean. I had gotten the 6700xt for free and was doing a platform upgrade from a ryzen 5 1600. I didn't have much money to spend and needed more cores for how much multi core tasks I do
Always check for plastic on surfaces. Fortunately on my pc that is almost put together it pooks like some manufacturers are working out they don't need to use clear plastic. (Deepcool fan i think it was blue)

In thinking about building a pc for Fortnite, I gonna take an i712700kf but I dont know if it will be better to put in the system a 4060 or a 6750xt, i red a lot of post on reddit, and they said that amd doesn’t run Fortnite well, even if the 6750xt is way better than the 4060 What should I buy, I will probably play perfoamce mode comeptitve settings ??
AMD does run just as good on Fortnite than it does on nvdia also don’t build on intel there some instability problems build amd cpu system right now Though the 4060 is better than the 6750xt but for how much the 4060 costs you could get the 7700xt hope this helps
I have always said it doesn’t matter… but the last couple of driver updates on AMD have made Fortnite horrible on AMD… makes it hard for me to recommend right now to be honest… I mean if you play on performance mode and cap the FPS you will be fine (DX12 is where I had most of my issues)
Nice video. I build my first flip pc 7 weeks ago and spended 230 euro. I can't sell it at all even when I ask for 300 euro only ... I used ryzen 5 2600 - gtx 1070 - 16gb ram - new windows install. Is my price fair ?
I got a b550m k motherboard because that was the first thing that popped up on the amazon link and when setting up windows the only wifi option is ethernet but I’m not able to do ethernet is there any fix
The performance Difference of the 5500 is very very very small and there is not Gen4 support. I got the 3600 for super cheap of aliexpress. Yes if you wanted to bump the budget to $450ish then getting a ryzen 5600 would be the way to go. But when making budget builds I have to but the price somewhere
Get a better PSU. Never skimp on the literal lifeblood of the PC. Brand is massively important when it comes to PSUs as it has a direct relation to quality. You can swap the case for a basic one to save some money for a better brand PSU. Can probably even drop it down to 500W to save even more as the full build only take ~310W
