the dude who sold you this must be so mad that its so clean now you did an amazing job
Thank you!!
Or he's just too lazy to clean it up himself.
@@ronniedoorzon1576 and mad that he was too lazy to clean it up
this is exactly the type of content i want to watch: old rigs getting cleaned up and kept in their original configurations with minimal change/tweak. nicely done!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
minimal change/tweak: * proceeds to change the motherboard*
@@notpopbob because old original was faulty. He only changed what needed to be changed.
Yeah me too!!! love to see that ald hardware.. like old videocards and processors that where super expensive in the old day`s.. bringing back old memory`s of endles upgrades on my own computers in the past...
@@arjana2397 I love Collecting old GPUs back when they used to put cool graphics on the coolers! GPU partner companies need to go back to that!
The yellow stickiness is from cigarette smoke. Nicotine stains yellow and is extremely sticky and dust builds up on it like glue.
Yeah its terrible haha
@@DesignsByIFR And people smoke for fun! I get to detail big $$$ boats that have the same kind of crap everywhere, it even stains latex gloves when cleaning it.
My parents smoked in their house for years and when it came time to clean the mini blinds it took soaking them in the tub in pure bleach to get that crap off. So glad the wife and I quit smoking.
@@patrickmcgovern4004How'd you guys quit? I'm struggling so bad. I don't smoke inside. But I feel trapped like hell.
@@LastExile1989 my wife took chantix. I'm one of those people that is able to just put them down and not pick them back up again if I choose not to. The trick is to keep your mind occupied and try not to think about it until you get passed the physical withdrawals.
You absolutely got your money's worth, even if the motherboard had to be replaced. The hardware for the custom cooling loop alone was probably worth that much. That stuff is not cheap. Seeing all the crap that came out of the cpu and gpu blocks makes me glad I decided not to mess with water cooling.
I sure did =) glad i got it all working
the only issue I see here with the water cooling gear are those EK classic tube fittings, EK have stopped making them, the last couple of years before they tried to force people into using those awful quantum fittings, the quality was so bad that they didnt even brand the classic fittings with the ek logo, their PETG tube quality is pretty crap these days as well.
I AGREE! There was no Scamming involved if the seller stated it could be the Mobo in the first place.
Air cool is easier and not scary like water coolin
Amazing work as always brother. It is always incredibly satisfying watching old systems getting restored to their former glory. I can’t wait to see more videos in the new series as I think it will do really well for you.
Glad you enjoy it! Thank you, yes it is really exciting for me to try out! I really enjoy these budget pcs
This is the kind of content i love. Cleaning and bringing back to life old gaming pc´s is so satisfying. This video popped up on my main youtube page and im so glad that i find you, cant wait for new cleaing and rebuilding videos💪💪
my pc is almost nearly as dusty so him insulting this pc was my cue that I need to clean mines lmao. I felt personally attacked the entire video!
Hahahaha! Hey if you live close enough id be happy to clean it for a video
Really inspirational video. I have often considered buying old broken systems to try and salvage as much from them as possible. I think you said you paid $20 for this which to me sounds like an absolute steal considering the amount of parts that were fully functional by the end of your cleanup operation. Very impressive work guys, very, very impressive indeed.
Thank you =)
I'm going to be honest! This was one of THE best and catchy YT-Videos I've ever watched! You've put so much work into this video, really amazing!
I also love buying pc parts on the used market that people don't treat right and turning it into something incredible. For me, its about breathing in new life and making the most out of these devices that attracts me.
First content ive seen of yours, absolutely brilliant, very impressive rig,i feel you about the scammers, top work getting like new.
Thank you! I appreciate it!
this is the type of content where I can sit and enjoy every minute. love it, very satisfying.
Glad you enjoy it!
You paid 195 for all that and you are saying you got scammed?
better for clickbait.
@@TH-camSuxx7 Why he is scamming someone else if the computer is working perfectly now? Its not super powerful by any means, but it can game. Most people just care about that.
Because he sold me a PC that does not work when he said it all worked perfectly. Thats a scam
Thats a sad way of looking at it. Iv fixed it up, it works now. How is that a scam if i sell it?
@DesignsByIFR that watercooling stuff alone is worth more than 200, that's a sad way of looking at it.
Never understood how people just let things like this go
Thats why we bring them back =)
Ignorance. That's why everything that sucks in this world, sucks.
Lazyness. The pure WC parts alone are worth more than 200
Great system revive! Almost painful to think how long it must've taken to clean everything up and then finally to troubleshoot the boot error. +1
almost 600k subs, congrats corey!!!
Loved this rebuild/fix it video, the GPU and CPU stayed frosty 🥶 noice
Appreciate it!
Great movie! I love them! Please make more and more videos like this on the channel! Well done! There's a lot of satisfaction in watching something come back to life!
Thank you ♡
I really love this content please keep making more !! 😁
Yeah i like these clean up rebuild ones. They are good for people who just cant afford high end builds. Nice job buddy
Thank you my friend!
that new series would be an awesome watch! i'll definitely be looking out for the new series!
Thanks! I am excited for it
I'm glad you redid the plumbing. It was the worst custom water cooling setup I've ever seen.
I love ir dedication and professionalism to clean everything. Insane work and effort. Not many ppl would do it. ❤
That guy who sold you that PC probably blocked you the SECOND he got your money cause he knew what was wrong with it
Yeah that would be my guess
i mean thats kinda what you deal with on facebook market place.@@DesignsByIFR
One time, I found I was blocked before even driving away from the sale.
fantastic job. I knew you were better at this
Great video Corey. 👍👍
Thanks mate! Good to see you again =)
You are amazing keep up the amazing work ❤️
Can you please put the link of the market place, and if you sell one of your restored pc's maybe some of us will want to buy them. Great job and keep it up! ❤
If all fans were exhaust, then how did they get clogged with dust? And how did dust end up on the inside of the case if there was constant underpressure? Something doesn't add up here.
Took me by surprise when that wild pipework and clean pump appeared suddenly
it's very satifying how much fps it produced and how it was able to play those games given the price of the pc, although sucks mother board got bent pin.
Nice job it looks brand new!
Upload this kinda video daily Corey🖤
I wish i had the ability to, these take longer than actual pc builds
Fresh grape juice into the cooling loop, ready to make another batch of gamer wine
Fantastic video!👍
Thank you very much!
This was the best deep clenging pc recover ever is see i wana say goos job
Great video as usual. Did the seller unblock you or that was it ?
You must of spent so much time on that old machine mate but at least you managed to get it fired up good work seems like many people don't maintain their systems even when it's water cooled the dust on those radiators proved it was not maintained at all
I see you with that air roll on RL 👀👀 Respect for playing KBM I could never lol
Hahaha, yeah trust the editor to put my worst play on screen xD
"They didn't mention that the dog lived inside the computer."

So satisfying to watch!
what chems did you use to clean the rads?
Have you ever consider use Ultrasinic cleaner for some components like the coling transfer plate or such ? It might be one tool to add to your work shop. But excelent job
Thank you! I habe thought about it but i love to show manually on camera how i would clean something because if anyone else wanted to try for themselves i wouldnt imagine many people own an ultrasonic cleaner
just in case anyone needs to know. if you have an old system with liquid that has dyed your clear hard tubing, run dawn dish soap with distilled water to clean off the dye.
That's why i never use Facebook marketplace the admins on Facebook need to start checking sellers glad you sorted it ' it looks brilliant
OOOFF No before and after side-by-side? Mega omission. Gr8 restore job!
beautifully done, although watching this made me check my PC and laptop for cleanliness... PC's good, the laptop well that's another mater LOL
Hello. I just want to ask. I'm watching how you apply thermal paste to the CPU and I think it's not quite right. Did you then try to remove the cooler again and see where there were free spaces on the CPU where the thermal paste did not reach? I recommend spreading the thermal paste evenly over the entire surface of the CPU. This will ensure that the entire surface is free of air bubbles.
I've got an O11 Dynamic XL with rads in the top and bottom. I clean it out every couple of weeks, so it's pretty clean. It could use some upgrades once I can afford it. It's running an 3900x with an RTX 2080.
2:46 I am pretty sure I saw the soul leaving the case when you blew it😂
looking forward to the series
Thanks!
Nice save. I like the black/red look.
Brother, the pump was outside. That was hilarious
Well done mate
Well done. Like the content hence sub.
Did you check the cmos battery? To make sure it wasn't bad causing the issue
All the pc parts gung-ho aside, those ROG Maximus mobos definitely has some charms of being so buff hardware wise it felt like it compliments the rest components around it, like it's the best thing about Asus ROG boards.
I have the exact Gigabyte MB and the same cpu. I also have the C0 code and my comp runs just fine. The only issue I have with this board is the onboard audio card sometimes bugs out and turns the volume to max and you have to reset the computer to resolve the issue.
I have BitFenix Neos with only two fans, and it is dusty. I try to clean it up with vacuum cleaner because I don't have any compressed air. CPU cooler and fans need cleaning badly.
Great idea love it, would be great to have something different 😊
Thank you! 😊
Neighbor: "What your watering?"
Me: " My Pc."
Tip fella's! In your water loop, your pump needs to be at the bottom or even with it. :)
Whoever owned this computer should be ashamed of themselves.
i wish one day i have one pc like that
even with having to replace the motherboard, 100 bucks is still an incredible price lol
Great video, but I don't think you were scammed. With the items you got in the PC, including the case, you got your $250 back.
What is the name of the song that you were playing while you were rinsing the parts off of the PC?
Bro just love the work you do bro really awesome love that pc too the red looks wikced ❤
Thanks!
Would you consider waterless coolant?
Just getting those 512GB Samsung M.2 NAND SSD's was worth the 195 right there!!!! What an absolute win..!!!!!
I'd never buy anything with an old Gigabyte motherboard, however nice board upgrade :) Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero? If you look hard enough you can find 6700k for $100aud usually on gumtree, delid, liquid metal and can get 4.7 to 4.8ghz overclock stable :) Would be cool to see some tweaking happening, watched 2 of your rebuilds so far and that's the only detail lacking everything else is spot on man!
Thanks! Perhaps i could try some overclocking etc
3:20 there are no stains due to the fact that the "coolant" was just tabwater with Red DYE. Also explains the rust.
Man i clean mine every 2 weeks. Couldn't imagine leaving it in this state.
How old is that PC? I blow out dust of my PC (radiator and fans) once per year and by seeing how little dust builds up in my PC in one year, than i can not imagine how long it takes to get so much dirt in your PC without cleaning.
Its old, id say like 2015 perhaps?
you did fantastic job
The most amazing part of the PC is that the blue stickers on the EK logos have not even been removed.
It’s funny how none of the stickers were removed, like on any of the components
Haha i sorted it 😃 i got you
should try 35% Hydrogen Peroxide its what you use to clean out sewer lines breaks and destroys grease and other stuff but recommend gloves and masks its also great for tile to whiten grout
Iv actually got a bunch of it, never thought of using it for pcs
How do you find these deals?! I've been searching and only see overpriced crap. :(
my pc is 10years+ and it is clean. I clean it every 3-5 Month. it is old but i like him.
i kinda got scared first when u said 2600k and there was ddr4.. i was like HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE!?!? but thank you for correcting! x)
now im finished. sub'd and i want more this kind of videos. Thank YOU!
Hahahaha yeah long day 🤣 was not thinking properly at the time i guess
Why You fill the system whit Red GUNK Coolant.?
I do not see the case listed in your parts list. What is it?
what "chemical" solution was used to clean the radiators on the inside?
Who flooded that poor PC with the Grimace Shake
Toilet boil cleaner will instantly get rid of hard water on the inside of that radiator. Don’t let it sit tho. Do it very quick. Works like magic
Just curious, what chemicals did you let sit inside the radiators? I'm in the process of cleaning mine as well and would love to get the inside cleaned out as best as I can.
u can get radiator cleaner
Distilled water and vinegar is your best bet
How did you solve American megatrends issue ??? It always says to me "system will shutdown after 15sec" sometimes it worked and sometimes nope 👎
If anyone have solution please tell me
And there's me shaming myself because I don't dust my PC often enough...
Use metal polish for perfect mirror finish on waterblocks.
What model is the msi monitor you are using?
One glimpse at that pc i can image how the owner and his house look.
He may have other priorities in life, i like to look after my pc because its what i enjoy
I washed those radiators directly with water myself, I didn't start blowing dust into the room air.
90 degree bend in the tubing that massively constricts the flow. Who the heck built this thing?
Did I see that right? Did you put more of that red dye in after spending so long cleaning it out of the areas it plugged up?
have you considered reflashing the motherboard bios?
I have to admit, just looking at the condition from the thumbnail, I would likely toss it in the rubbish, rather than touch it.
Haha i love fixing and cleaning them up
This is exactly why I don't liquid cool my PC builds. I have seen so many components ruined from leaky liquid coolers.
Always surprises me how you have thousends of dollars in equipment and then neglect it like this. So good there is you :-)
do people not realise they need to keep their stuff clean? i never let anything get even close to this state.
i really can't understand why people butcher their pcs like this, clogged fans, lots of dust, dripping coolant.
