Today is the first time I've seen your video. I really like the way you keep it simple and too the point. I've been struggling with my hair since 2019 when I got a perm and it literally burned my hair out. I have been taking care of it myself ever since. It has grown back, but I'm afraid to let anyone else do my hair. So I'm trying natural styles and I like the crochet braids. I'm always looking for ideas. Thanks for sharing and keepem comin. I'll be checking out more of your videos since I just subscribed
Aw sorry to hear that, but also happy to hear you are getting your hair back on track! If you are seeing improvement keep doing what you are doing! This is only one ingredient so perhaps worth giving it a shot. I’ve seen a difference in my hair since using this.. it’s not as dry. And thanks for stopping by and commenting! I appreciate it! Welcome 🤗
I have some flax seed in the pantry too! I was looking for something to use for my small DIY bohemian knotless‼️ Ty you always coming through😘 thanks sis❤️
Awesome! There you go! I love to use it when I have my braids. That blue squeeze bottle I showed I will use that one to help apply the gel to my scalp when I have my braids. Definitely give it a try sis 💕
When I use to make it to use mainly as a face mask, I used rosemary essential oil. You could use tea tree as a preservative or peppermint essential oils
I’ve seen people use it to help define their curls like in place of eco styling gel. I will use it as a deep conditioning treatment, rinse out then have beautiful soft hair. I use is to moisturize my hair like a leave in before my braids.. it makes it soft and more manageable. I’ve even see some people use this gel as a face mask to help brighten their face… I’m going to try that the next batch I make 💕
Yes, definitely. I started using it to replace the end control I use on the ends of my hair when doing my braids. It’s like when I use edge control it will straighten out my kinky ends to help stay in the braids but when I use flaxseed gel it smooths out my natural hair and forms a curl at the end so it helps stay in the braid that way! 💕 in this video I boiled the flaxseeds and water but now I just put the flaxseeds in a jar with hot water not even boiling and then place it in the fridge for a day or 2 and boom it’s just as good with less work 😊
Cool. Next time you can reuse the seeds. Thanks for the video.
Wow! Okay Periodd 💕
that is so cool, do you know how many times ?

@@Beautywithty1 yes ma'am I sure will🥰
By the way, what kind of preservative would you use in this gel.

Good question.. I only keep mine in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks tops. Maybe you could try vitamin E
I’ve heard about people using it as a face mask! I’m definitely trying that on my next batch I make. Thanks for sharing 💕
Thanks for posting. I like how you use it on your braids for moisture. ❤
Yes I love it! I even use it on my scalp during my braids 💕
The straining right after is clutch...I'm using to pre poo and detangle
Bet! Definitely going to try this! TY 👌🏾🤗
Please do! It’s so bomb and makes my hair soft! 💕
Don't forget to add a preservative since there is water in it and not vitamin E.
Yes you’re right.. if I was to try and keep it longer definitely add a preservative but here I kept it for a few days in the refrigerator ❤️
Why not vitamin E
Thank you. I didn't like straining with a stocking. Too messy!
Blessings From Texas🤠
Right! I knew I wasn’t tripping. May God bless you and your family 💕
Is it good for hair growth? And I'm going to try it. Thank you so much for Sharing
That’s what they say lol but I know for sure it moisturizes my hair and make it soft. 💕
How long can it be left in the hair before washing
I didn’t wash it out. Lol idk honey 💕
Thank you for sharing
My pleasure! Thanks for watching 🥰
I will be making this so easy diy
Yes super easy! 💕
What's flaxseed gel used for?

@Beautywithty1 wow I didn't know that
Hey sis, thanks for sharing this 💕 Do you think I can use this flax seed gel instead of edge control/jam when I braid my hair?
Yes, definitely. I started using it to replace the end control I use on the ends of my hair when doing my braids. It’s like when I use edge control it will straighten out my kinky ends to help stay in the braids but when I use flaxseed gel it smooths out my natural hair and forms a curl at the end so it helps stay in the braid that way! 💕 in this video I boiled the flaxseeds and water but now I just put the flaxseeds in a jar with hot water not even boiling and then place it in the fridge for a day or 2 and boom it’s just as good with less work 😊
This is what I've been looking for, thank you sooo much ❤
You're welcome 😊 thanks for watching 💕
