    You can skip boiling by simply adding hot water to the ground flaxseeds. Stir and let stand for 10 -20 mins. That will do the trick😉. Add 1 tbsp of oatmeal for better whitening and moisturising effect.

    Great video, thank you & you are beautiful... I would suggest not to use any metal, as spoon or metal strainer... When I make my hair spritz, I put it in the refrigerator & let it get cold, then I put in ice cube trays, then when frozen, I use my "Food Saver" bags & it lasts for up to 4-6 months. I also add to the flax seed mix Vitamin E, Tea Tree & Lavender essential oil & 2 Tablespoons Aloe Vera. I have issues with Eczema & so b4 I shower, I put all over my body, let dry, then put on my bathrobe for 1/2-1 hour, then shower... I wish you & all the best all around, as we've got this 1 way or the other... 💞🎵🌷🌺 🌸 😆 👏 👍 💫 🌟 💛

      Hello! Yes you can definitely use it, I would recommend doing a test spot first on side of your face or somewhere not too noticeable just to make sure it agrees with your skin before putting it all over. But I also have acne prone skin that can be pretty sensitive and haven't had a problem with this mask. Let me know what you think!

      @NaturalBeautyBasics  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol thanks!! You know I was also thinking that this would be good for irritated skin on the body, so its definitely worth a try! The only change I would suggest is rinsing it off before it dries just so it doesn't dry out your hands too much. Let me know if you decide to experiment with it!

    • @NaturalBeautyBasics
      @NaturalBeautyBasics  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! As far as natural remedies I would recommend my DIY strawberry and honey mask to help with the scarring. You can use it all over or just as a spot treatment on the area. Here is the link th-cam.com/video/AYSu2dW5O3Y/w-d-xo.html.
      For deep scars you made need something more intense like a microdermabrasion treatment which is basically like a mini sand blaster for the skin that helps to smooth out scars and pigmentation. I have a few deep scars that I had treated with microdermabrasion from an esthetician and it helped but it does take time. Hope this helps!

      Once the seeds are boiled, the gel can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days in a closed container. You can also store the ground fax seeds in the fridge for several months and boil a small amount when ever you want to use the mask.

    I tried flaxseed gel for hair found it to dry the hair out and made it sticky, my hair is a silk curly hair did not like it at all. My concern in terms of using it for ski. is you did say your skin was dry. Some of theses great ideas do just that leave the skin entirely to dry.

      Hello! I go over some of the benefits of this mask in the video at about 3:25 minute mark if you would like to go back and see. My skin is very sensitive and doesn't respond well to drug store products so I primarily use diy recipes and private label products which are sold in a salon. I use a salicylic acid cleanser for everyday, clay mask throughout the week, and rose water as a toner. The line that I use recently started a website as well if you want to check out the products: www.skinessentialsch.com/skin-care

    • @NaturalBeautyBasics
      @NaturalBeautyBasics  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Marlene! I'm sorry to hear that, I know dialysis can be really rough on the body. With that said this mask may be a little too drying for you to use under the eyes. If you're looking for something more moisturizing I would suggest trying an oatmeal and honey mask or even just the honey by itself. It wont have as much of a tightening effect but it will help with moisture which decreases the appearance of wrinkles. Also cucumbers are great for the under eye area. Wishing you the best on your treatment!

      This mask only has a slight skin lightening effect so I'm not sure how effective it would be. I have a strawberry and honey mask (here's the link to the video : th-cam.com/video/AYSu2dW5O3Y/w-d-xo.html) that may be more effective but it's hard to say if it would be a permanent solution since melasma is more of a hormonal imbalance.
