    Bought one in May 23 Sonic Grey Pearl Sport. The car is not a 'hot rod' but is an excellent commuter. 37+mpg, looks great, drives great, safety and auto everything...Road noise is noticeable, gas tank is small and Android Auto is sketchy but under $30K is hard to find today and I plan on keeping mine for a while...Also looked at Altima, jetta and WRX

      @braden2233 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most vehicles have this now and I know a lot of mechanics don’t like it. Lots of car reviewers say the same thing. There worry about it possibly wearing down the engine and starter. Personally we alwasy shut it off

    • @braden2233

      It has a button that you can switch it off. The only thing that sucks about that is that it resets every time you turn off the car so you have to remember to hit the button every time you start the car. If you want to modify your car, you can add an an electronic device that will automatically deactivate it when you start your car.

    I enjoy your videos very much. Nice car but it is very over priced when there are some pretty strong Korean competitors for far less money and better technology. The Elantra also has a better breaking difference which is very important to me. Having said that my son has a 1995 Honda Civic EX with 79K original miles. The first 20 years it was garage kept and literally driven by a little old lady. He cannot afford a new car so I hope it lasts.

    Why pay as much for a civic as an accord?

  • @islanddon865
    @islanddon865 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Getting a new Civic at an affordable price is another thing. If you want one, expect to pay $5k over list or more. Is it a good buy at $5000 more? Nope. If you wait 6-12 months, you'll be getting a car that has an extra year added to the price without driving an inch.
    All things considered, it is NOT worth the price. If you can wait for the release of the 2024's in October...you'll be happier.

    • @elsierra9741
      @elsierra9741 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lucabrasi5070 WUNDERBAR!!!
      I hope it carries you splendidly for years to come.
      But I was in the Automotive biz for years and learned early on that you never buy any car for at least one model year after a "re-do" and two years after a new introduction. This car is a significant re-do, so I'll wait a year. Keep us posted how you are doing with that car. For us, it's going to be a single grandkid & grocery hauler here and in Canada. No jazzed XLE or Limited, only AWD.

    • @lucabrasi5070
      @lucabrasi5070 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is the second year after the re-do. I’ve had it 2 months now and is my 6th civic. This one is a Sport. Everything is great, so far. I can understand needing AWD in Canada. Not so much where I’m at. No AWD available in a Civic. Only FWD.

      @@mharro88 I do believe that of course but to say they are irrelevant just doesn’t seem accurate. The lowest selling cars in America like Suzuki are still relevant. Because even if Mazda or Honda or Suzuki sell say 60,000 cars a year, that’s still tens of millions. That’s not chump change. There are lots of car manufacturers. But I digress. If you wanna say irrelevant that’s fine. I just say low sales but still selling millions worth of vehicles.

      I’d have to disagree. The 10th generation which I have in my opinion still looks much nicer , unique and sporty. You knew it was a civic compared to this gen which is heavily generic and forgettable. Even interior wise my door panels have much more contrast to them material wise. So while I do prefer the 11th gens interior and exterior technology I’ll take my cars design and most interior components any day.
