Almost all cameras that have not been used for a long time
stop working due to temperature changes and improper storage
demage to the oil film layer coated on the shutter surface.
Today i'll show you how to make a stopped shutter
work in the easisest way.

I have a beautiful Minolta Hi matic F with a stuck shutter. This looks like a good solution but I wasn't even able to take of the inner lince :(. It sits really hard and I'm scared of scratching it.
Thank you! It worked for us, though when we first screwed out the ring around the inner lens the lens didn't come out with it. In the end we had to use a piece of tape to fish the inner lens out 🤣
My grandfather bought a 90s DSLR Olympia DL 2000 A in the year 2006.
My mom kept it we all just forgot about it. Today i asked for it its fresh never used but has the same issue i hope this one works for me

Can you do a video on how to fix the range finder? Mine doesnt appear to move focus when using the focussing ring so I assume the range finder patch has moved or isn't in right alignment

I think mine has this same issue, tried everything to try to get the inner lens out and it won’t move at all. Now it’s just stripped :(
There is not enough space for repair and it is difficult to remove the lens. So I bought special tools, and I also made them myself. good luck^^

In general, these types of cameras, which are a mixture of mechanical and electronic, are not easy to repair by yourself. But in my experience, shutter stuck is the most problematic. It's kind of hard to explain in words.

Without specialized skills, electronic cameras are more difficult for individuals to repair, and it will be difficult for anyone to answer.
I hate how we sadly don't see the most important part... the taking out of the inner lens. The space is so claustrophobic inside of the camera and I'm terrified of slitting open the belows and therefore ruining it.
I cant get the inner lens out, it's screwed open but will not come out
My lens has no problem at all but I still can't seem to take pictures because the trigger is kind of stuck.
For these types of cameras, the shutter release will of course not work when the shutter blade is stuck. Please check the shutter repair videos that I uploaded.
