I must say that was an awesome flight something which i would love to do. Its people like you that have inspired me to take lessons and buy my 1st ultralight, thanks guys keep it up.
I climbed Kilimanjaro in June of 2008 or 5 months after this flight. Had the rare chance to sleep at Crater Camp at the top where you flew over. Nice to know where you most exciting overnight stay was in your lifetime.
Fantastic video.. what a marvellous flight. I wish I could see the people walking at the top though.. couldn't be sure. And if I'd been sat behind Meredith, I think I might have ripped that damn hood of his right of and ditched it.. It was right in the passengers face the whole time ! He really ought to have tucked it inside his jacket. Oh well.. :-) ..
I read these guys took it to 24,300 feet. another guy took his micro light to aircraft to 31,200 feet without a pressurized cabin. so that's pretty damn good for as small as they are
