I’d highly recommend going with a h pipe it makes it sound much deeper and sound amazing sure it prob sounds great as is but I’ve got a s550 3.7 with a h pipe and have absolutely 0 regrets it being a h pipe

Do the resonators help keep the sound down im currently running a x pipe reso delete and mbrp race mufflers and bbk shorty headers but im gonna make the switch to catless long tube headers for my gt and i wanted something to cut the noise down
Hey Brent, I bought the same 2-1/4 x-pipe but I realized the x-pipe is considerably shorter than the resonator. Would two 18'' 2-/14 exhaust pipes work instead of the magnaflow mufflers?
quick question, i have borla atak catback exhaust on my 2015 v6 mustang, i want to get rid of my resonator and want to put an x-pipe. But I cant find any xpipe for the v6. Anything you can advise?
PappyOmar i have an x pipe from an old 05-10 v6 mustang dual exhaust conversion kit. It fit right up but i think the welder will figure out how to make an x pipe fit. Just pick one up!
Thats cool. My brother has one on his Charger. He keeps telling me to get one on my mustang but I haven't heard of any issues with the valves on Mustang so I didn't think it was a big deal.
Carl Rush it's not a big deal on port injection engines since any blow by crude left on the valves would get washed away by the fuel additives. Now direct injection engines have no cure for this and adding a catch can will only slow down the problem but not cure it.
For everyone saying this mustang sounds good, i agree with you. But check out my Mustang, mine sounds way better as well as other stangz i heard. All 3.7 with shortie headers and muffler deletes. No offense, just trying to clarify the difference in set ups, sound, quality and drone.

PappyOmar get a universal x pipe fitting your pipe size and that should work that's what Brent did

Have you looked at upper and lower intakes after theyve been removed on these engines after about 30k miles? I have. Bought a catch can the next day.
