If i were you id leave the roush on and replicate the rest of the setup. As far as mods...tune is really the big thing to get. A intake and headers really wont get you much more the money. The shorty headers sound a lil better but thats about it. Save your money and get a tune. Dont mess with gears either. I wish i had left the stock gears in mine. Didnt see any improvement at the track with them. Certainly wasnt worth the hit on mpg

Would two 18'' 2-/14 exhaust pipes work instead of the magnaflow mufflers? Also did you half to cut anything after you cut the resonator off? Like did the pipe and the 18'' magnaflow knock offs fit perfectly?
Michael Reverón thanks man. No, i think youd need longer than 18". The mufflers im using are 18" but thats just the body of the muffler. They come with extra length. 18" of pipe might work....but better take some measurements first.

I've been wanting to go custom quad tip instead of buying the whole roush axleback for an arm and a leg lol. Those quad tips you have will fit with the placement of the stock exhaust pipe after you grind the diffuser? My only worry has been that they'll go too far to the outside of the diffuser and I can't grind that part without it looking stupid

Men I did this set-up on my V6 mustang but the jones resonator on the driver side keeps hitting the chasis and making a bad rattling noise… My exhaust guys have adjusted it 3 times already and it keeps moving back to the same place and hitting the chasis… Have you gotten that issue?

Nathan Bearden yes, they really help tone dowm the rasp. Thats what i had before, had a high pitched rasp at certain rpms and loads. These basically got rid of that

jdogtheairsofter yeah, i had a spoiler that i made fron carbon on it. miggt make another one. really hurt the mpg lol. and tgis is my commute car. but once i put 373s in it...it really wont matter hahah

All the inlets on his exhaust are 2.25", they are welded butt to butt. except the back straight pipe is 2.5"

@@baso3871 You could clamp it with a 2.5" exhaust clamp or weld it, the gap should be small enough to have it welded

KidAsian the shorties really change the sound alot. Its much deeper with shorties. Not sure id try this without them

Planes & Cars as long as the tips you buy are centered, and not offset, they will work. I ran these on my roush ab as well

Montoya the Rager i put the resonators in to get rid of the insane rasp it had when i went catless. Catless because its worth about 10hp

Omar Quintana yeah, roush mufflers dont muffle very much lol. Youll need 18" mufflers in the middle like mine and should sound pretty good
