i like that too. but im talking in my description the sucking air sound from the end of exhaust when you let go off the gas when reving while parked. its more noticeable on h-pipe. And it only happens on v6, i dont hear those sound on the gt
And the air that you hear @ 1:49, i think somethin is wrong with my rear break/wheel/plate lol. I dont know for for sure though. It only happens when I shift on 6k rpm but it doesnt do it before. It started to do that just recently. I think before of doing to much burnout and donuts

Michael Reverón no drone as long as u have a borla axle-back. Some people put headera and even catless with borla and still no drone. I think that big ass mufflers borla has helps a lot with drone

Courtlandt Palton everything in the title, doesnt matter what type of x-pipe. They will all sound similar. X-pipe and borla atak first then bbk headers. Or buy the borla atak cat-back for the gt that comes with the x-pipe already and it is bolt on u can do it yourself. It fits the v6

What will the headers do for it sound wise. Will it make it deeper or what? I’m getting them installed next week

Michael Ortiz ive had both. Even the stype tends to go high pitch in wot, just a bit less volume than atak. Stype only deeper in lower rpm, just like the atak lol

yes and i dont think the 14 and below will fit the 15-17 without modification anyway. Sound will vary depends on how big and wide the place is, and also with the phone/camera used. Otherwise any borla will sound good in person on any s550 mustangs
Michael Ortiz for me its worth it. I love the way it sounds and its different from other v6 out here. I also got a little bit of power with cai and a tune. Throttle response became so sensitive after all that mods. I never heard a v6 mustang sounds like this here in my city
axle-back. Just buy the axle-back and buy x-pipe from summit racing its like $20-30 then have a shop weld it for 60-80 you save more creating your own cat-back

headers should be one of your first mod after you get an exhaust system if you trying to get some performance gains as well.

Yea the Roush have crazy drone. Definitely is unenjoyable after having it for a while

The headers are a must have, the x pipe just adds rasp. Unless you want maximum power gains, leave the midpipe alone
