MR60 Connectors upgrade.
This is one of the upgrades are needed in the ninebot max and avoid the connectors melt!

Love your video, This is my first time doing this. I'm gonna do it again. Because I don't think my connections are solid. Because every time I'm driving and I stop. It's like the scooter resets itself. Everything turns off except the battery indicator on the Dashboard So I'm watching videos and practicing before I go back and do it the right way. Because I'm pretty sure that's my problem.

Can we just use XT60 connectors insead? Don't want to buy MR60, but have lots of XT60 laying around. Could use two connectors so total 4.

MR60 are 3 pin. So there's usecases.

When you do the same for the battery, how do you disable the current in order to work safely with wires?

I usually cut one wire at the time then I make sure positive wire is sealed before I start to solder. To disable battery you would need to open it and get to bms but such a small adjustment is no need. However if you do not have experience in soldering I would not suggest you to do it.

@@esnkaz Yeah, that's what I thought. One wrong movement and you end up short circuiting the battery. Thanks for explaining. Great work.

What is the benefit of updating to these connectors?

Its a problem that ninebot has. Regardless if scooter has any upgrade connectors sooner or later burn. So they need to be replace before controller gets burn or other components on the scooter. Its an easy solution save time and the huge expense of replacing components on the scooter when doing this needed upgrade.
